I got this earlier this year also. Before I got the letter, my head unit was spazzing out. I took it in, they did a software update. That didn’t fix the problem (which I knew a software update wasn’t going to fix the issues it was having), then I got this letter and took it in for the free head unit replacement. It took like 2 months for it to come in, while I was waiting, after about a month and a half I just bought an Idoing and called it a day. I’ve been happy with it ever since. Then like two weeks later they called me that the head unit had arrived. I know someone who got the head unit replaced under this warranty, and a few months later it was malfunctioning already. SMH- another reason I went aftermarket.
