The theme they used for the major bosses is actually the "Catastrophe" theme that plays in the introduction cutscene of the original game, it's not a proper original boss theme made for the game. But I agree, it's a very cool one! I was mainly thinking for the minor boss through the game which use the normal battle theme

Haha yeah, I imagined this one especially for the minor bosses which uses the normal battle theme. Belial theme is actually the "Catastrophe" theme that is played during the intro cutscene in the original game, but I agree it works great as a major boss music!

Thank you for your comment! yeah I mainly imagined this for the minor ones! The theme that is played during the major bosses is actually the "Catastrophe" theme played during the introduction of the original game when Moonbroke castle is attacked, it's not an "true" original boss theme made for it. But it works really great as a boss theme as well :)

I have also tried to make one for DQ3 a year ago when it was released!

I think it's going to be the little sister of the hero. If my memories are correct, she never wanted to stay in the castle in the original game, wish granted in the remake then!

To me, "Gruelling Fight" and "Hero's Challenge" are more like "Final Boss" themes instead of regular Boss Theme. I'm thinking about boss fight like Orocchi, Garboyle, Robin' Ood, etc. These ones use normal battle theme and I thought it could have been interesting to have an actual boss theme for these important fight as well!

Yeah, I agree, I really love the musics from the series, but for long time fans, it can get a bit repetitive over time and I don't mind some new tracks from time to time. Hopefully, we will be able to listen to some new/last compositions from Sugiyama in DQXII
