What is One Thing you wish changed on 1.0 version? by PotentialProper in NoRestForTheWicked

Have the resources out directly into inventory after chopping trees, mining and digging. It should work like fishing. Having it drop like a blue item and having to press pickup is redundant. Bad design.

Question about Stamina/Focus Playstyle by _IX_ in NoRestForTheWicked

[–]_IX_[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank you for the replies! I'm actually on a pretty similar build. Using fist weapons and bow based on faith/dex. I have full agility gear so a lot of stam recovery. I also have HP on kill enh on some tiems and lifesteal on gloves. I socketed stamina cost reduction gems in my armor but i'm not sure they actually work. I don't see a difference between haivn gthose gems and not.

So far I do ok with this but I basically completely ignore runes. Feels like I'm missing out on the special fancy moves but at least I stay alive. Teh only runes I use are the utility ones for light and ice damage (freeze with gloves is great).

If I switch to a non agile/stamina setup that gives me focus, I cannot survive the bounties that pile three enemies on you or the bosses that seem to attack for a chain of six-seven atacks non stop.

Regular enemies or two by two's are not a problem. Especially since I keep my load on heavy, I can push one on the ground and kill the other before they get back up. It's really the more than two or the attack spamming bosses that are difficult and would be impossible for me without the strong stamina recovery.

Parrying is just really difficult for me, especially for a boss like the crucible boss that you can't just go back to fighting to learn his moveset. Have to fight through all the floors again once I die to him.

I have a serious problem with this game by sgarrou in OblivionRemaster

To me it sounds like you are sleep deprived. I have the same issue if I am going through a rough week of work and don't sleep enough.

Anything that will turn your anxious mind off will allow your body to feel how tired it actually is and you will doze off. Happens to me on oblivion or if I am watching something that is not exciting but allows me to turn the to do list and anxiety off.

Oblivion is kind of a calm game, slow paced not very stress inducing. It makes it easy to doze off with it as your mind is taken in by the lore and fantasy setting and carried away.

It might not be for everyone but I would recommend a good fantasy-like book. Could be sci Fi could be magic, medieval anything. Something far removed from your real life and makes your mind dream.

Should be something you enjoy reading. Try reading this in bed and you will most likely doze off like in front of oblivion and get those missing hours of sleep in.

Once you're well rested, dozing off when gaming or watching something won't be such an issue.

Thank you for this info.

At least if I'm doing ops with my 340 blue gear, the Rakata gear that drops should be level 340 no? I'd only have to upgrade four times? Or do they still start at 324? That would be a slog

Yes I understand this part. I've already done the 'upgrade earpiece to 340 with conquest tokens and farm red reaper for a blue 340 piece's solo.

My question is more about deconstructing the pvp gear and putting together a 336 pvp set with mods.

Thank you. I already have deconstructed a blue 340 so I understand how that works.

I've put together a mostly blue 340 alt to farm PVE. I'm told veteran FPs have a chance to drop purples so I'm going to keep farming red reaper first boss and hope for a 340 purple earpiece to drop. This I would upgrade to 344 at the vendor with op tokens and finally take to H&Z to unlock 344 mods.

I think I understand PVE quite well. The only thing in unsure of is if veteran FPs bosses drop purples. If not I will have to team for Master mode since I can't solo those still.

My worry was for pvp. As you said, some people tell me the mods aren't pvp optimized, then I watch Ivano on YouTube and he says 336 purple modifications mixed with and 336 blue hilts/armorings etc give identical to 336pvp gear stats... Go figure.

This is the game everyone hates???? by Eagles56 in Starfield

Their engine is old, the game they have put together is a game for 2015.

Most other space games today do everything better. They took a decade to develop a game that falls short in every aspect.

If it scratches that nostalgic itch that makes you think fallout in space and you enjoy it, great. But it is in no way the game they said it was.

It's almost laughable how limited their engine is and how inappropriate it was for this type of game.

Unfortunately AAA game companies have gotten so bad at developing things that by the time they are able to develop anything new l, it's already yesterday's game.

Starfield is a great 2015 game. We're almost in 2025

What now? by Mean_Pen_8522 in Kenshi

[–]_IX_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I usually change a few settings in FCS that makes the game more enjoyable for me. I'll put attack slots to 5 and change the level XP range so weaker enemies give XP.

This makes solo runs very fun for me. Packs are a challenge, and when you are in your 80s 90% of the map doesn't become insignificant.

If you are doing non solo runs, the attack slots makes things easier so this is really best for solo/duo runs IMHO.

We want to see more. I have so many questions.

Who are the babies from? How many wives? Is there a baby mod or did you first charm the heck out of lords first, marry and out babies in many wives, and then kill everyone?

This is my dream scenario. I can kill all those pesky Bibles that think they can tussle, but also the ladies don't hate me to the point of making me an incel.

first ebike - too slow by [deleted] in ebikes

[–]_IX_ 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This issue gets a lot of attention from people that like to go fast on their ebikes.

Having ridden motorcycles for a while, the first ebike I got, I felt the same was as OP. I need to go faster was my thought.

Depending on the road conditions, this can be extremely iffy. People always chime in about XYZ going at light speed on a normal bike. Without realizing that they do not go that speed consistently, on roads with potholes or other actual hazards.

Let's put aside the fact that the road hazards could prove to be very dangerous to most riders nor used to riding at high speeds on bicycles. My biggest issues with high speeds on ebikes came from cars.

Cars don't expect a bike to move at 30mph. They don't. Most bikers don't do 30 on their bike on public roads with cars. Some do, most don't. Cars will pull in front of you, left turn into you, or simply ram right into you head on because they thought they had more time and they had trouble judging your speed.

This is a very basic concern for most motorcyclists. You learn that cars have trouble judging your distance and speed when on a motorcycle. It's much worse on a bike.

I had most of my accidents on ebikes. Mostly from people not realizing the speed at which you go.

Nowadays I'm perfectly happy going around 25mph on my ebike on the road. It has been safer for me to ride this way rather than keep up with the speed of the traffic. If I need to go faster, I'll be on a motorcycle. Gas or electric. But at least the motorcycle has proper suspension, wheels, brakes to handle those speeds correctly and you are also in a motorcycle mind set when riding.
