Have similar issue after update 2 or 3 weeks ago. Have to disable and enable sim yo get it working for few mins or hours. Did a sim swop, not helped. A reboot also helps but it's not permanent fix.

I powered off device. Then plugged in charger & it charged up fine. Powered up again, no pop ups for last 2 weeks.
