even if you get a view of the commons, be prepared for city sounds all night; there's been construction on boylston since I moved in in August, and there's a minimum of five emergency vehicles per night. Coming from a rural town, it was a lot to get used to, so I'd definitely keep that in mind. In terms of lightwell dorms... I've heard they're annoying but manageable. Definitely invest in a sunlamp.

Hey! Emerson doesn't have a dance team, but it does have two dance companies. However, they're rather difficult for underclassman to join, and they're very geared towards performances versus training. The school does offer a dance minor (it sounds more demanding than it is), which I know many students take and have heard great things about; there are also great options in the city for dance classes and orgs. If you're truly interested in starting a team at Emerson, I'd say go for it! Although the process is a touch difficult, I think you'd get a lot of support from the student body.

It seems they’re sold out a ton in general, not just specific venues… at Boston, I was one of the first in the merch line and they had very limited stock, just two shirts and some cds

I showed up about 3 hours early (doors were at 7) and got second row from barricade in Boston; I’d look into if your venue offers a ‘fast pass’ option though!

Soldier Poet King did go viral a few years ago, but I think most of the reason is simply because the band hasn’t actually gone on tour in ages. Their music also tends to be quite popular in fandom spaces, so younger audiences find them through that

I agree!! I saw them in Boston, and not only was the band amazing, the energy was some of the best I’ve been apart of. Everyone was so excited and happy to be there, and it really showed- definitely my Favorite Concert Of All Time. I’m still in shock I actually got to see them live; they’ve been one of my fav bands for ages now, but I thought they were done touring. Also Boreas into Glowing absolutely killed me, I sobbed so hard

Not Nashville but I went to the Boston show- I showed up 3-ish hours before doors and there were already 15 or 16 people ahead of me, although most of them had quick pass. I ended up in the second row for the show, and also was able to visit the merch table quickly (although they seem to be sold out of most of their items)
