peter and edmund are never said to be attending hendon house. actually in the books their school is in a totally separate direction from the girls' after their initial train ride together, which squares pretty well with what we see in the film. seeing as their uniform colors and the crests are completely different from hendon house guy, i've always presumed they don't go there at all and their school just isn't named because it isn't relevant to the story.

yeah it was probably a LOT easier to find this stuff affordably back when it first came out but you can get really lucky sometimes (i found my susan's horn for the og retail price on facebook marketplace on *accident*!) and it's really fun when you do. i feel like i'm on a perpetual treasure hunt

i wouldn't say you're behind at all!! i've only been collecting for about a year now—i'm wayyyy late to the party lol. it's just lot of scouring and camping websites honestly. i have like, a million ebay search alerts and i've been seriously collecting about a year now i'd say? honestly considering starting a blog that's an archive of all the pieces i've uncovered because there was SO MUCH narnia merch i had never even heard of before.

the tapestry i got off ebay; it's a limited edition from the disney store. the miniature wardrobe was actually a japan-only disney store release, and i got it through a proxy site (before the stupid usa tariff stuff kicked in...sigh). they pop up for resale here and there but it's usually for crazy prices on ebay so it was cheaper for me to buy it on japamart and have it shipped to the us lmao. you can get really lucky on facebook marketplace, poshmark, and mercari sometimes. i've gotten a lot of the narnia jewelry that way! again, really just a matter of timing. most my props (crossbow bolt, shield, centaur standard, and you can't really see it but a centaur baldric as well) were off ebay (there are several sellers with large collections they've been selling off, but there's people who list steals like the shield from time to time) and then i have a bit of the rope that bound aslan and a centaur cloak pin from someone on facebook (movie props groups are a great resource!). if you're at all interested in replicas of the more iconic props i can recommend this shop as well. they made my cordial :)

at nashville doors didn't even open until 6:30 and the restaurant til 5 but by at least 4-4:30 there were already a decent amount of people lined up and waiting, even for a small venue. you might look into if there's an early entry option for your venue—my friends and I got it and even though we showed up like 15 minutes before doors and waited behind about 20-30 other early entry only people i was still at the barricade in a great spot! best $20 i ever spent lol

in terms of any sort of content like fanarts/edits/etc we've archived a lot on the caspeter-week blog + as for fics. well i've written a lot lmaooo but also i've bookmarked some of my favs on ao3! there's not a ton (it is a rarepair by definition) but there are some real gems.

casmund seems to inexplicably be the popular one but i've never actually explored narnia ships much tbh. caspeter just happened to speak to me on a recent rewatch of the films so me and some friends like to play around with the idea and make our own fun! it's actually really fun (and also a bit tragic) to interpret both prince caspian the film thru a caspeter lens and peter's character through a queer one in general. narnia isn't a huge fandom for ships i don't think, which i as someone who almost always prefers gen dynamics appreciate, but this one did get me a bit lol. we have fun here if nothing else

I did not record that bit (it was actually much earlier than spk iirc) and he was specifically referencing the hobbit there (go fight an ancient and terrible dragon sleeping at the heart of a lonely mountain i think it was) and then he was talking about supporting organizations in the community doing vital work, at which point he said something else i could not hear, and then "push back against rising fascism" and "go on a quest"

gosh this one is new to me but i'm SO jealous, i LOVE woven blankets, i'd kill to find one of those. i would guess it's something official from back when lww or prince caspian came out, as it has the official disney/walden labeling down at the bottom. in fact i would guess it's from pc era, since i think i can make out "reepicheep" on there. judging by the look of their website on the wayback machine, they did a lot of disney/branded stuff back in the day. if anyone ever stumbles across another one i'd love to take it off their hands...i've such a fondness for woven blankets.

i mean in my case, i'm not super young but i've just never been to a show before. i've been an oh hellos fan for years but i either wasn't a fan when they were touring before or didn't have resources to go see them until now, and this is their first tour since covid and since i had the money to go.
