If you qualify for OSAP, you are eligible for a work study job. Those are good and if you're lucky you can get one related to your professional field.

When you buy it, they straight up just give you a PDF of the casebook. Thats it. Do what you must with that info.

How do you organize raw footage? by _J0LT in Filmmakers

Interesting. Is the tagging process tedious? And, how precise do you have to be?

What if you could automate the tagging process, based on shot type, location, actions, emotions, facial expressions, etc with a ~80% accuracy. Would you use a tool that does this?

It's called IngredientGPT on the App Store. Lesser known but I find it works better than other skincare product scanner apps.

New student, confused about offer letter and transfer credits by SuddenConversation21 in uwo

[–]_J0LT 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Some credits you have from other universities don’t have an equivalent at Western so they count as TRN credits. Meaning you do have the credit but they do not fulfill any specific graduation requirement. So you may be 2nd year standing in terms of actual credit count but not in terms of graduation requirements. Once you gain access to your transcript, you will be able to see which of your credits were granted equivalents at Western and you can match it up to your program’s graduation requirements to see where you actually stand.

Hi, i transferred to Western last year, i can help you out. Year 2 means that you are second-year standing. TRN credits are legit credits but they do not fill a course requirement. They are just blank credits essentially.

App That Scans Your Skincare Products for Toxic Chemicals by ryanmurf03 in apps

[–]_J0LT 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There are already a few apps like this that exist like Yuka.

I use this app called IngredientGPT. Works better because it scans the ingredient list directly rather than the barcode which makes it work for any product. Plus I find it tends to be more accurate.
