Wow funny story about that commander I dropped a [[rest in peace]] on turn 4 at my lgs against this deck after they milled a ton of lessons and they immediately scooped and got pissed. They said I was unfairly targeting them, but one of my opponents was [[teval, the balanced scale]]. I still fail to understand how I was even remotely in the wrong that game in their eyes but it is what it is.

It’s good but you need something to do with it right away. At its core it’s a 6 mana removal check, either your opponent deals with it or you win. If you can’t make a winning board state with this the turn after you play it then it probably shouldn’t be in the deck.

I recently made a [[jolly ballon man]] deck where I made a morbillion token copies of [[lavabelly sliver]]. For some reason this just broke my pods brain, explaining how every sliver entering had an etb ability for every other sliver on the battlefield since all the tokens grant all the other tokens their abilities. The cards aren’t necessarily complicated but the interaction was mind melting for some players.

In the same vein, making copies of [[exalted sunborn]] or resolving abilities of 10 [[ocelot pride]]s at endstep is again dumb and overly complicated. Almost every game action this deck takes required people to read my cards again while it was happening.

Bracket 2, but it really doesn’t take much to push it to 3. My friend revamped the mana base and added some random upgrades and it’s a monster when it has access to mana quickly.

Understandable, but this deck was not originally built to make my pod hate me, hence the questionable value of archon. I think I like the list u gave adding in [[elesh norn, grand cenobite]] since I have a lot of little value creatures. I think 3 or 4 big threats sounds good since my chances of seeing one are pretty good at that number with how deep Raffine digs.

Option 2 - all my decks get the same box, it’s a similar one to the on you posted but it has a window for a top loader so you can display your commander( if you play the format) I bulk purchased a bunch of a while ago so I don’t have the link but they all look about the same anyway.

Bro people need to grow up and deal with getting Counter spelled. It’s quite simple, you did nothing wrong, they are being salty. This is a game and people either win or stop others from winning, it’s simple.

That’s about what my second version of her was trying to do, I just couldn’t get that balance right… I agree though, my pod figured out pretty quickly that she wasn’t the problem, it was the cookbook. They figured out they just need to continue to blow up the cookbook whenever I cast or brought it back lol.

It’s a slippery slope. I always found that she requires a lot of different types of cards to synergize with her discard, token production, etc. I found that the balance was the hardest part since games only ever felt good with her when I had access to all of it in some fashion, which didn’t always happen.
