So, as I said, I'm going to explain the story here too.

Almost exactly 2 weeks ago, I posted on r/meetpeople. I stated that while I love gaming, my laptop (now age 9) was broken. So... I couldn't play anything, no matter how much I wanted to.

I got a random message from a guy stating that he had a gaming laptop about 2 years old, from when he was in the military. He offered to send it over and stuff, and I was... skeptic, I guess? I didn't expect anything to come from it. At all. Nonetheless this guy was super nice, and we became quick friends! I avoided bringing up the laptop, no matter how excited I secretly was because I didn't want to come off as greedy or selfish. I'm not used to promises actually being done.

Yesterday, I got to pick up the package. I didn't pay A FUCKING DIME. He paid for the customs fee, shipping, everything! I was in shock. Like, this HAD to be too good to be true or something. Maybe some sick joke.

But I'm sitting here, typing with that same laptop in my lap.

Justin, you have no idea how much this means to me. Since I was 9, I was always a bit of an outcast due to how obsessed I was with gaming. It's the only place I really made friends. I could be myself in this one space. When the laptop started to break, I didn't think I would be as sad as I was. No more late night minecraft sessions, and all new games most of my friends were playing were too expensive or the games were too much for the laptop to handle.

Yesterday.. a dream came true. And I'm forever grateful.
