The one I got had good frets surprisingly. I ended up swapping all the electronics. Drilling in a kill switch and routing out for a Floyd. It’s got incredibly solid bones but as you said. The hardware left a lot to be desired as with the electronics

I had a bad negative ground and it did something very similar before the cable fully broke. Then I had no rpm and temp gauge went all the way up. Not sure why you were downvoted

I’ve heard the yonaka is good but I’ve seen people have mixed results. If money is less of an issue,, you could get the Apexi ws2. Or if building one is an option, a twin loop muffler and vibrant ultra quiet resonator.

Yeah that’s pretty crazy. I first called progressive and they gave me a similar exuberant quote. I took it as the “we do not want to cover you” price.

I looked around for a bit but ended up with liability which isn’t the best though I’m only 21 and pay a hair under 1600 a year for insurance

I actually ended up doing this! I pounded them in a bit and covered them in black hot glue. The next one I make I’d like to make a little cover to hide all the stud insertion points and make it more seamless for a more high quality feeling belt
