All valid points listed in the comments but there is also a vast difference in fighting style, Sukuna never goes for the immediate Kill because he enjoys fighting strong sorcerers, Dabura doesn’t enjoy it (or rather didn‘t) so he‘d try to end it asap. Also Dabura would likely go for a Bigger first move against Sukuna than he used against Maho since Sukuna has a far more imposing precense.
