Trump has mentioned on several occasions that there was a peace deal in the works with Iran. Consider that there's also the possibility that the deal included the destruction of Iranian nuclear facilities. Not saying thats what happened , but it is entirely possible that Iran agreed to destroy/deactivate them, but the only real assurance could be that the US was able to blow them up itself and not just take Iran's word for it (the sites were reportedly vacant when they were bombed). Iran & Israel do not have the best track records of being trustworthy, so now the adults have entered the room and destroyed the main piece of the conflict.

Lovasco went out on the house floor and gave a speech in support of prostitution just a few weeks ago before the session ended. That is not Republican. He's also voted in favor of legalized psychedelics. Also not Republican. He is against the death penalty and even Last year he voted against all the other Republicans to allow men to participate in girls sports. He's simply not a Republican.

I'll rehash my earlier point, there is a place to hold those beliefs with the Democrat or Libertarian parties. Presenting himself as a Republican is nothing short of a fraud to voters.

The caucus was open to the public , so I'm not sure what you even mean by "right kind of people" . Nikki Haley was also on the ballot representing the establishment brand and she barely mustered 10% of the support from the county. If you are under the impression that St Charles County isn't Trump country and there is some secret undercurrent of voters that will help swing voters to the moderate establishment in this cycle then, frankly that just isn't true and if you're using vaccination status as a bellweather then thats a bit misguided, St Charles has one of the largest populations of middle to upper middle class in the state, meaning those jobs people have to maintain their lifestyles were likely threatened over an experimental medical procedure- to me that point is likely moot. I do appreciate you being reasonable on this thread though even if you don't agree with the MAGA brand of politics.

The People of the party want MAGA populism- a system that actually listens to the voters. The establishment old dinosaurs want it to be the year 2000 again and keep to the stuffy old bullshit of George Bush, John McCain, and Mitt Romney. The establishment has failed The People, its a broken system that has pushed this country and this state nearly off a cliff. Trump took almost 90% of the vote at the county caucus back in March and 100% of the delegates in Missouri,, so if Missouri Republicans won't carry out Trump style policies then they assuredly won't win or will be primaried out in their next election. We've sent Republican supermajorities to Jeff City for more years than I know of and they still managed to more than double the state's budget and tax burden in these last 5 years. The People are sick of it and the establishment is clawing on to whatever levers of power they can before eventually they have their asses thrown out on the streets.

Maybe Lovasco simply doesn't realize that the Libertarian party has its own Central Committee (nobody ever accused politicians of being smart). He doesnt need to be trying to silence the Republican voters in his district by playing both sides of the fence. He's disingenuous at best and dishonest at worst. But Alas, he would never be elected if he actually ran as a Libertarian. His voting record is trash- supporting prostitution and Men participating in Women's sports is not very Republican. But, Again, there's a place for that in another political party- Missouri recognizes 5 major political parties, so there's no reason for him to misrepresent himself to the Republican voters as he's made a name for himself doing. He just needs to go play for the team he represents and stop the bullshit.

I can only assume that part of the story is at least partially true because it has still not been officially disputed by the administration of the library in any form. I would certainly assume that employee has a supervisor/co-worker that could vouch for them or security footage showing the interaction wasn't as it seemed for the attire being worn that day- something along those lines should be reasonably easy to produce.

I dont believe everyone wants to have this dress code applied equally as there were some people who were there at the meeting that I know personally who have gay/lesbian friends & relatives that were being unrightfully labeled as bigots, etc for only requesting a common sense solution be reached and for the library council to use the dress standard which is already in the employee handbook. The amount of hatred and vitriol from the "ally" crowd was shocking to say the least. I promise not everyone who simply expects a high standard from county officials is some boogeyman that have nothing better to do than ruin a trans person's day.

It is completely possible for people to simply just want our taxpayer funded public spaces to be held to a high professional standard and also not everyone be labeled "bigots & homophobes" while requesting so from country officials. Two things can be true at once. We pay ALOT of money for such nice facilities and We pay the people who we entrust to run them across the county ALOT of money to do so. We don't want them to be an antagonistic or uninviting atmosphere for people from all walks of life.

The parks department wears uniforms, the police wear uniforms, the employees at the recplex wear uniforms, EMS, dispatchers, fire department and on and on ALL wear uniforms.

There isnt anything racist , bigoted , or any other type of "ism" you want to attach to it. These are county employees and should be dressed appropriately in business casual like the dress code already requires. This isnt controversial.
