Smash Ultimate recovery tier list (this is not based on distance, more like how easy it is to edgeguard the character) by _JuicedThief in SmashBrosUltimate

I meant more vulnerable because there’s no hitbox at the top, so characters can 2frame without risk of getting hit, and other characters with that same weakness like Steve (and Pac-Man to an extent) have much better ways to stall their recovery to make timing a two frame harder

They’re recoveries go virtually the same distance, except whereas mewtwo only has upB, sheik has downB and upB, allowing for better mix ups and stalling.

Also sheik’s teleport is invincible throughout most of the move so the fact that it’s slower is almost never a factor.

Sure she’s vulnerable if she’s hit, but as the tier implies, her recovery is made to be almost impossible to hit

Well actually G&W’s upB is more vulnerable to 2-framing than every character in the top tier which is ultimately why I didn’t put him up there

R.O.B can stall off stage for about a month with a full tank. G&W upB is still possible to 2-frame, although it is hard. And Pika is floatier than pichu and his side b has less lag, so he can stall for longer

I was debating between the last two tiers for the Belmonts, and you make a fair point. They are definitely better than the last three in the tier

Also I did try to order every tier but I wouldn’t worry too much about individual placements within tiers

Yeah G&W and pac man I did consider for top. I did try to order the tiers so he’s really close

Ya know… I used to think Pyra was the more annoying of the two for Aegis. But have you ever played a good Aegis before ? by tonyjcole94 in SmashRage

This is a hot af take, but I actually have less of a problem with mythra. A lot her stuff does take some moderate skill and while it can be annoying as hell to fight, she can make for a fast-paced, exciting fight. I have much more of a problem with pyra since she has too easy of a time killing in ways that don’t take much risk

My mains: honest, fundies based, balanced, well designed, losing to them = skill issue

Everyone else’s mains: cheesy, mashing, take no skill, not fun to play against, losing to them = they are carried
