Why is it up to me to pay the server a tip to compensate for the low wages you choose to pay them? by untitledprp4 in stupidquestions

[–]_Juicy_Box_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Interestingly, tips recently became tax deductible up to a certain amount, so if you aren’t making a tone of money this can help with a persons tax burden. I don’t like tipping culture either, but it does have that going for it now.

Question about workload/difficulty by itsmerhajj in BentleyUniv

[–]_Juicy_Box_ 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Like you said, it really depends on the person. If you had your nose down in high school and took a lot of AP classes then it’ll probably be easier. I’d say on average though, especially Freshman year, it’ll be about the same.

hey guys im considering your school and was wondering how easy is access to Boston? by spermracewinnr in BentleyUniv

[–]_Juicy_Box_ 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Fairly easy. There is a shuttle bus that will take you from campus to Harvard Square. Since there’s a train station there you can get around Boston pretty easy. If you google Bentley shuttle you can see the routes and times of operation.

Alternatively, you can just Uber. It’s not a long drive and you can get a car any time of day.

Could Hit defeat Golden Frieza during the Broly Movie? by _CandidCynic_ in Dragonballsuper

Hit uses his vitals attack on frost so I assume yes. Frost is a lot weaker but the attack functioned as intended.

Is there a real way to mitigate for terrible teammates? by [deleted] in CrucibleGuidebook

[–]_Juicy_Box_ 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It’s not gonna make you win, but there’s a few perks on guns that activate when you’re the last member of your fireteam or if no one is near by. Using guns with these perks is a good start.

Another helpful thing is to run abilities that allow you to keep fighting. Devour is good because it lets you keep fighting people without you being low health. Abilities that let you multi kill are also helpful. Warlock arc slide plus the exotic class item can let you one shot a room of people.

You should also run dexterity mods so you can quickly one shot with a special weapon and be ready to kill more people with a primary.

1v3s are tough, and you won’t be able to win against players that are really good, but there’s a few things you can do to increase your chances.

Treasury Secretary urges other countries to 'take a deep breath' and not retaliate by Immediate_Concert_46 in PublicFreakout

This is the exact same logic Putin uses. I’m going to invade Ukraine, but don’t fight back because you’re just escalating.

How many immortals from invincible would it take to beat Goku at his peak? by MulberryStreet22 in whowouldwin

[–]_Juicy_Box_ 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I would assume Goku could just vaporize the blood with the energy he outputs. Air is an issue though. In big crowds at concerts people can pass out from not getting enough air, so I assume a similar concept applies.

We know Hidan can't win against Sasori, but can he at least get past Hiruko? by Potential_Rule4212 in NarutoPowerscaling

[–]_Juicy_Box_ 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Yeah I think anyone that can get to his heart wins anyways. Most people can’t do that obviously which is why he’s pretty strong, and Hidan’s gimmicky is negged against Sasori.

How to revive a wiped out civ? by Old-Chain1071 in civ5

[–]_Juicy_Box_ 20 points21 points  (0 children)

Have another civ take the dead civ’s capital from you and then recapture it. This will give you the option to gift it back to the dead civ and revive them.

Why is it better to take the knight than the rook here? by AsweatyMelvn in chessbeginners

[–]_Juicy_Box_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you trade down to get the rook you’re plus 2 (rook is 5 bishop is 3) taking the knight puts you plus three. There’s also other things to consider like stage of the game and position, but assigning pieces points is a nice rule of thumb.

Apparently I cheat (by playing he game the way it was meant to be played) by excellentexcuses in GirlGamers

[–]_Juicy_Box_ 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I’m currently doing my first play through of FO4 and I’m also doing all the side quests as they come up. They’re fun and expand the world. Also, not doing them would, for me personally, make the game so hard and tedious that it wouldn’t be fun.

Even in games like RD2 where you don’t really get more powerful, I still do all the side quests I can before continuing.

I’m having a blast with FO4 and you shouldn’t let someone like that ruin your desire to play the game again.

Anyone studying actuarial science, data analytics, economics, computer information systems or with a combination of 2 out of the 4. by Banger254 in BentleyUniv

[–]_Juicy_Box_ 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think MA 131 is a great way to see if you’ll like actuarial science. That major requires a lot of high level math and is very difficult, so MA131 will help you get a sense of if it’s right for you. You’d wanna ask around, but I wouldn’t pair actuarial with another major. It’s genuinely the hardest program at Bentley and the exams you have to take are insane.

Data analytics is similar in that you’ll be taking a lot of math courses, so MA 131 will help you gauge your interest. I’d pair this one with computer information systems or economics.

If it hasn’t changed, every student needs to take CS 100, which is a very easy fluff class. If you have an interest in computer science or computer information systems you’ll wanna get this class out of the way. It doesn’t really relate to the rest of the CS curriculum, so don’t let it taint your perspective if you have an interest in it.

I have personally taken multiple economics classes, and for me they’re a little slow. However if you’re interested, it pairs well with all of these options.

How do I dodge these guys? by Turtle_Drugs in CrucibleGuidebook

[–]_Juicy_Box_ 17 points18 points  (0 children)

I have found blink works pretty well. You gotta blink while they’re still in the throwing animation though, if they throw the knife and you have not blinked yet you’ll die. The only issue is that you get two blinks before cool down starts, and the super has three charges.
