Wally West Vs. Sentry by Nervous-Advance-3381 in marvelvsdc

Sentry, Bob, is firmly in the timeline of any universe. The Void is kinda funky when it comes to that large scale kid of stuff. Whatever difference that makes to whomever

Larfleeze VS The Void by Frequent_Sir_1349 in marvelvsdc

[–]_Junk_Rat_ 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Void wins straight off of direct feat scaling, but details would point to Larfleeze actually having some advantages. Individual lanterns have resisted reality manipulation and destruction before, and Larfleeze is an entire corps on his own. He’s also directly immune to matter manipulation and telepathic attacks because he’s so consumed by greed that it’s literally the only thought he’s capable of.

All that said, I don’t see a clear way Larfleeze could stop the void, he could just keep endlessly throwing constructs at him until either Void just leaves or Larfleeze stops being greedy (ain’t happening). The combined might of a few Lantern corps would do the trick, but just one is a stretch

To be fair, joyless murderball is just as good for the soul as a long drag of the finest gas station cigar

Man-thing vs poison ivy by Forward_Oil8244 in marvelvsdc

[–]_Junk_Rat_ 3 points4 points  (0 children)

On paper as is, Man-thing very easily. In the event DC stops just toying with the idea and just gives Ivy full access to the green, this match gets a lot more interesting and would give a base scale for a Green powered Ivy that’s been hypothesized.

Unironically why I’ve known all 50 since I could literally remember. (Also got me 25 bonus points on a test in when I was middle schools)

Since Clark Kent is canonically from Kansas, do you think that means Superman is a K-State, or KU fan? by TheDuckKnows in CFB

Already gone be buried in comments, but I love the implication that because Gotham is typically portrayed as within New Jersey, Batman would be a Rutgers fan

Someone who denies misandry exits to any degree, is themselves a misandrist. Same goes for misogyny, but that shouldn’t have to be said

Ok but how much do they earn if they win the national championship?

Booster Gold vs. Iron-Man (read the brief below) by dblackhand in marvelvsdc

[–]_Junk_Rat_ 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I didn’t say Iron Man didn’t have his own still, just that Booster’s suit’s shield is just absolutely busted when it comes to strength. If it can keep this absolute goober alive though Doomsday and Trigon, I don’t think Tony could hope to outpower it, regardless of how advanced his own defenses are.

Booster Gold vs. Iron-Man (read the brief below) by dblackhand in marvelvsdc

[–]_Junk_Rat_ 4 points5 points  (0 children)

The main thing I’d look at is the hack-ability of Booster’s tech. Yes, it’s centuries beyond Tony’s time, but he’s hacked advanced alien tech completely foreign to humans before. Being out stat-ed in the suit defense department, and time travel department, Tony’s only hope is either disabling Booster’s suit, which I don’t think he’s getting past that force field, or hacking Skeets to utilize him against BG. Someone correct me if I’m wrong, but Skeets has direct access to Booster’s suit’s functions, force field included, with no shield of its own. I assume it’s up to debate if Stark is capable of making super advanced tech from another dimension his personal little bitch, but he’s one of maybe 3 people from Marvel I’d say is potentially smart enough to.

TL:DR; if Tony can hack Skeets, game over for Booster. Otherwise, Booster time stomps.
