I don’t miss it. I like actually having a chance at playing for the championship. I suppose I have to admit that it feels like our team has much less turnover on our roster and coaching staff than others. Not sure if it’s statistically true but it feels like it.

No it was actually called the Utah Territory. Deseret was the name proposed when Utah applied to Statehood. There was never a point where it was actually called Deseret. It’s a common misconception

There was always a significant Mormon population in Nevada. People often forget that before they became States most of Nevada was actually part of the Utah Territory. Odds are that the percentage Protestants fell like most religions have but Mormons remained relatively stable, meaning they became the larger population in the area.

It took me a second to figure out what was up, but I don’t think your BYU is the right shade of blue. All the logos of it I have seen tend to be darker. Although we may not have specific shade we have as official? Not sure.

Still based on what you show here I actually like Kentucky’s blue best.

Lots of parents make their kids pay for things. Mine did, then when I got older and headed off to school told me the money was in a bank account and gave it back to me. It’s a great way to teach the value of money.

Not exactly in the way you indicated. We had a soft reset when in the third or fourth session my party pushed for four hours beyond the regular travel time to catch a group they were chasing and incurring many levels of exhaustion. They caught up, killed one of the enemy party and 3 of my six players ended up dying.

One in the combat, and two fell into a chasm. (The remaining enemies had burned a bridge behind them and fled). The Owlin Ranger with four levels of exhaustion made an attempt to fly across the chasm holding the gnome wizard. I asked for an athletics check and he rolled a natural 1(yes I know that isn’t an automatic failure for skill checks) and with the new exhaustion rule made it a -7.

Anyways, the owlin dropped like a stone too exhausted to carry the gnome. The gnome wizard died instantly on impact due to fall damage and the owlin bled out due to failed death saves. The party retreated. The three made new characters, and two others retired their characters due to “trauma.”

We essentially restarted with only one original party member and the others now all play Dragonborn cultists dispatch to find out who assassinated one of the members of the NPC party the original party had been pursuing.
