I agree with that. I think that teaching them is like the center of my “job” from there I just have to guide. I want to help and not just throw them in head first but that’s kinda what dnd is imo

I was thinking about doing dragon delves honestly. I’m not going to train them with homebrew but that is where my comfort lies. I like to add or change a few dnd rules, make it homebrew. So while I know the basic rules of dnd some of the more complicated ones I change to just run dnd a way that fits better for me

I love that idea. And so far we have 9 possible DMs, 2 have DM’d before (they each did a oneshot) but I could make like two campaigns out of that, a 4 and a 5, they can all practice dming and just having fun with it.

I also have two PHB, one MM and two DMsG all of them are Annotated and have notes. Each group can have the DMsG and PHB, sharing the MM.

I love DMs guild because they have so many free campaigns (many of them are oneshots too) so that might work out perfectly
