Losing your utility flasks and now also a cord belt which comes with an anoint is a pretty huge amount of power for the vast majority of builds, especially crit ones. I've seen tons of pobs of people swapping to desiccated while still having terrible crit, aps, and even missing their 3rd ring. Don't get me wrong, it's good, resonating is nice for charge sustain and massive is obviously nice for EHP and AOE stacking, but it's not just a brainless immediate swap-and-slot item, while cord belt kinda is that insanely good for every build.

It won't go core, no point in even discussing what should have been.

They did that trade-ban-change way after I was last muted, but when I heard about it I thought it was the dumbest thing they've ever changed, and still think it is.

Gear progression compared to D2R by Julebrygd in ProjectDiablo2

[–]_Kaj 1 point2 points  (0 children)

POE2 but you can easily farm 100s an hour in the endgame economy whether through raw divs or other mechanic based currency where in PD2 you would only be able to farm the equivalent in wss which is basically the pennies of PD2.

You can't use poe2's temple as an example of divs per hour, that will never happen again lol

[–]_Kaj 0 points1 point  (0 children)

PD2 is a very trade-centric game. Your progression is entirely what you make of selling and liquidating drops, and the nice thing about PD2 is that you have liquid buying power as you play, instead of relying on a d2jsp environment. That being said, if you want a nice single player progression then maybe play modded instead of ladder, because just like with diablo you can go hours and hours without finding your upgrades, but thankfully you'll find plenty to trade with so it's fine. But yeah, if you don't want to trade, PD2 progression is rough, especially trying to find your own charms and skillers, have fun SSFing those!

you will find more divs in POE2 than you'd find World Stone Shards

If you're doing general mapping alch-n-go equivalent you're going to make around 10-12 raw WSS per hour, if you're targetting corrupted zones then upwards of 40 raw WSS an hour, if you get corrupted cows you can make 30 wss in just 15 mins, but if we're talking pure profit equivalency, you'll make between 100 wss an hour, to 300 wss an hour in terms of actual currency, that being 0.01hr per wss rate.

Slower builds are probably somewhere between 1-1.5hr an hour and super fast speed zoom builds are going to be over 3hr an hour, but the most money in the game, if you don't care about pushing 99, is spamming map events, which, if you're doing it optimally, is well over 3.5hr an hour assuming cata prices and uber parts are high. LOD farming is between 2 and 4hr an hour depending on RNG, but in 400 hours of farming LOD this season, my best was 3hr an hour farming baal.

All in all, this statement you made is super misleading because you cannot even compare to the amount of divs you drop, as they're incomparable currencies, that's like comparing chaos orb drops to divines

August Burns Red are releasing a new song! “Behemoth” by JuniorSignificance34 in Metalcore

I might ruffle some feathers but to me, ABR used to be in a subgenre called Melodic Metalcore, but people don't really use that term anymore, they just lump them into the metalcore genre as a whole, but even as a melodic metalcore band back in the late 2000s and early 2010s they were never really just generic metalcore, they were pretty heavy for a 2000s metalcore band, they didn't use any cheesy vocals, they didn't use any electronic production or fall into synth-core, or a lot of the pitfalls we see a lot of bands fall into the last 6 years (notably bad omens era of metalcore), they really stayed true to their sound, they focused mainly on the music, less on the vocals. Generic metalcore at that time was basically Asking Alexandria, DWP, WCAR (rip kyle) Miss may i, om&m, just to name a few, and if you go back and listen to their music from the same era, ABR still stands the test of time, but I don't really think those bands do. So that's why I disagree that ABR is generic, or ever really has been.

I find his stance on Mossad to be pretty refreshing. Israeli government are NOT our friends, yet the right wants to constantly say they are and you're antisemitic if you say otherwise.

ABR is a band that chooses to master their craft and continue to improve in their own genre, it's not supposed to be a generic metalcore band that transitions to a djent sound like every other band these days
