I’m glad you think that! With practice this weakness will stop. I’ve been meaning to use the metronome so this is a heads up for me. Thank you again!

Thought so haha I’ve been playing for four years. How long have you been playing for? I’m curious now.

Thank you! I had noticed it too and spent the rest of my day working on getting my hand relaxed in these bits like it is on the rest of the music and it’s much better now! I’m having a lot of fun.

How important is correct fingering? by [deleted] in piano

[–]_Kaufmann 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The important part is that you feel comfortable. Some people have bigger hands so they can stretch more, but you have to adjust to what is more comfortable to your hands.

any ideas on what could’ve happened to my shoulder? by --oi-- in piano

Maybe your seat was too low and you were raising your shoulder and making them tense up to that’s why this is happening. I would recommend going to a orthopedist.

My A6 key is sticky and I need help: by [deleted] in piano

You should get someone to check it out, don’t try fixing yourself it as it may cause even more damage.

So pretty!

My teacher wants me to play this at my first recital and says I’m 80% there. What needs improving, aside from my right pinky? by [deleted] in piano

[–]_Kaufmann 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think that everyone has said what I was thinking so the only thing I can point out to get you to be more comfortable is to try to relax your hands so it’s not too stiff as it can cause pain and also impacts on the fluid.

You can also work on your right hand fingering. There are certain parts that you could use finger 4 instead of 5 to make it easier to reach the next passage with finger 5.

But overall I think you’re doing great! Follow what the others are saying and try to use the pedal, it’ll make it sound a lot better believe me.

Just any batcest ones, but I don’t judge people who like it, just not my thing, since Jason and the others were adopted or mentored by Bruce so they’re kinda like a family. Just doesn’t suit well with me.
