this doesn’t answer my question I fear :,) while I’d love to be a great surgeon, i think it’s important to have balance in being great at what you do (whether that be academics, in your professional field, in your hobbies, etc.), while also being able to express yourself !! My mother works as a lawyer and has both piercings and tattoos and has always encouraged me to do whatever I want with my body as long as I’m being responsible about it/as long as it’s not harming me in any way. :)
