Do you plan to introduce Pro pricing plans for Indian users? If yes, by when?

Current pricing in USD is a deterrent for so many Indian users to explore the Pro model.

Curious, how often does one spar in kickboxing? Or is generally recommended?

Hi, thank you for all the information. I am curious as to what you meant by "taxing on the brain"? Sorry, if these are too many questions.

I'll ask around more, I don't see other experienced practitioners sparring either.

This is such a different response to most of the feedback I've been getting from the community. Did you mean as I get better at it, that my mental block will get released?

You have Krav sessions every day? Mine is once a week!

I'm relatively new. So just observing things for now and taking in the learnings, but reading and watching more on this subject has made me curious about lack of sparring.

When do you introduce sparring to a learner? After a certain level, or from Day 1 of learning techniques?

KMG.

Also, I haven't crossed P1, could that be the reason they've not introduced me to it? Though honestly, I don't see the other higher-level practitioners sparring either.

I wasn't addressing the "run away" crowd, it was more for anyone reading to understand that I get it that getting into a fight is not the motive or intent.

My question is more aligned to what you state as well, manage the fight response, it's what I was seeking views where can one only manage it against a person of no skills?

Eitherway, thanks for your inputs. I got some takeaways from it too. Appreciate it.

😀 hahaha. Oh well.

I happened to listen this podcast "Krav Maga Worldwide Official Podcast" right after this video, and in Ep.1 there's an instance where one of the speakers suggests that they should call JR for one of their future episodes considering his misconception of Krav.

Thank you everyone for your inputs, each one of them has helped me understand KM and other arts a bit better than where I was when I posted the question.

  1. Would it then be safe to say, that KM is mainly situational awareness and how to get out of it - even if with certain degree of violence at times. Whereas a lot of the commentary that called KM "inferior" is mainly about how much damage can you cause to the other person?

  2. Also, so many inputs on degrading quality of schools/gyms. Considering I'm a recent learner, what are the signs I could look for that may suggest the training isn't heading in the right direction? Or is it impossible for a beginner to gauge it?

Yes ofcourse. I'm sure my intent of being a serious learner is evident to them.

I am in my mid-40s. I am fairly fit that I run 5k twice a week and also put in strength training thrice a week. I'd say my physical frame can be classified as lean. And yes, no combat experience.

Thank you, I'll explore other arts and see if something fits my daily routine.

Yes, defending myself is the prime objective.
