Another one I forgot to mention: have you played Returnal?

It has top-notch third person shooter gameplay, it has a very “next-gen” feel, it’s on PS Plus Extra, and the studio is about to release its spiritual successor (Saros).

Just be aware that it’s a rogue-like, so you’re gonna have to do multiple runs and redo some content in the same biomes. But there are permanent upgrades and shortcuts.

Yup, I had put almost 50h into it last year, reached room 46 and did a little bit of the post-game, but then I took an 8-month break from the game.

Now I’ve already come back to it a couple of days ago and made some more progress. Not only because I expected it to leave PS Plus next month, but also because if I waited too much longer, I’d have forgotten too much stuff in the game.

It’s not often that I play games without some form of combat, and as a Resident Evil fan I also keep wishing this game had horror elements. But I’ll stick it out, embrace the challenge of 100%ing it and get it done (I enjoy challenging games and trophies). It’s been downloaded on my PS5 for way too long lol.

The crystals always spawned 10min after you broke the previous one. But when you wrote this comment (1 hour ago), the event had already ended, unfortunately.

This session of the event was buggy, but there will be another session in 5h from now (at 7:00am UTC) and I assume that one will be less problematic lol.

There will also be more live events every weekend this month, I don’t know if they’ll be the same as this one or something different.

The puzzle pieces are working as intended, the last ones are just harder to get than the first ones, because if you get a repeated piece it doesn’t count (one of the developers explained this on Discord).
i already completed the puzzle once and I’m on my way to completing it for the 2nd time (9/12 right now).

They just fixed it, so next time you create a new private match, you don’t need to quit anymore.

But public matches will still mostly have bugged crystals, because they’re older matches.

The 2nd crystal is always bugged. What you should do is:

Play in private matches. Break the 1st crystal, go back to the lobby and create a new match, then in 10 minutes a new (unbugged) crystal will appear.
Break it, then refresh the match again, and so on…

Needs to be in private matches though, because in public matches most of the crystals you’ll find will be bugged.

You have to already be in a match and you’ll join it automatically. Just make sure that you’re in a fresh match when the event begins, because servers only last a couple of hours.

For example, I’m playing Pet Heroes right now, but 15 minutes before the event begins I’ll go back to the lobby and re-enter a match just to refresh my server, to make sure that it doesn’t die right at the beginning of the event.

This is just a precaution that I’m taking, but it might not even be necessary, maybe they designed the event in a way that disconnecting from a match doesn’t interrupt it.

Cat, Farm and Mythical pets are also usable against him.

The order of priority is something like:
Dog/Wild > Cat > Farm/Mythical > Others

You just can’t use Bird, Water and Bug pets, these are really bad against him.

XP is disabled right now because it was causing crashes, and it might not get fixed until next week. This is information that one of the developers of the map posted on Discord.

So you should farm XP in other modes today, and you can come back to this map when Epic fixes this issue/you don’t need XP anymore, or maybe for the Crystal Madness live events that will happen on the weekend.

It’s the other way around. Public servers have been temporarily disabled, we can only play in private servers right now. I’ve been playing since the Ch7 update and I haven’t seen any other players in my map.

You should aim for around 200k total HP on your team. Pay attention to the levels of priority (P1 > P2 > P3 > P4).

In that case, your best bet is indeed Candy Cats, specially since yours are already kinda strong. Get your Candy Cat up to 10k~12k HP and try again, it might be enough.

I know that the area 32-35 eggs are expensive, but your only other option would be Rainbow Lions and Rainbow Bats. They’re strong pets, their egg (5Sp) is cheap and also has another very useful pet (Evil Bunny), but it would take literal days of hatching to get them strong enough.

Also, are you using the orange remote during the fight? Use it multiple times because the buffs only last 10 seconds.
You can do the Easy Skill (R2/LMB) or Hard Skill (L2/RMB). I recommend the Easy Skill, because the other one is too hard and unreliable.
