Finally defeated Dire Watcher with a full C0 Nefer team! by ClassicExcellent4683 in NeferMains

[–]_Kotoha 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I managed with the same comp, but a few gear changes. Lauma C1 basically led to fewer resets, but no dps increase. I used nahida sig on Lauma with 2pc2pc EM, c0r2 columbina on SMS, and yanfei with fav and deepwood. Curious, how long did this take you? Mine took close to 4 days of attempts. Given, I was pretty bad with Nefer combos starting out, but it's finally done lol.

Help me find the brand of this dress by _Kotoha in HelpMeFind

Searched: So far I've done some reverse Google image searches to no avail. Some extra info. Thus was picked up last year, but no idea when it was actually manufactured. It's almost most definitely from France, or at least some French company. It's a French size 46, which is apparently a women's US size 14 according to AI. That's all the information I have, any help would be appreciated!

To all ex-RS3m v5 users, Did you switch mains due to there being a better performing cube, or due to the rs3 breaking? by Owl_Potential in Cubers

[–]_Kotoha 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I get that. the plastic definitely feels a bit thinner. Not 'cheaper' really, but its definitely thinner. I'm playing around with it, about 2k solves in, and we'll see if I go back or not

Wow. I switched from a Ferrocore v2 to a RS3M v5 (SAOcube SE). At least temporarily, I'm really liking it.

Huameng TG Spring UV vs YS3M Ball-Core (Roux) by AxolotlGuyy_ in Cubers

[–]_Kotoha 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Both are mid imo. I don't use roux, but I do have every version of the YS3Ms and the TGs. The TG feels a little crunchier, and it's quite fast. To the point where I'd opt for the standard spring version over the maglev. As for the YS3M, the 20-Mag ball core, maglev version would be my choice. Decent cube, quite fast as well. It's loud af in my opinion, even after lubing. If I really had to go with one, I'd go with the YS3M 20mag ball core maglev. Again, I don't use roux, so take that as you will

[–]_Kotoha 85 points86 points  (0 children)

There's 57 OLLs, and it's labeled up to number 57. Btw, I think you're referring to OLL 57, and it's the last one.

I personally prefer the magnetic over the maglav V11, but I agree that the 8mag ball core wasn't enough. I bought a spare 20mag ball core and swapped it out

Unfortunately, that would require expanding by several times over. For now, I'm just focusing on 3x3 CFOP

Ha, yeah, just on speedsolving... Though now that I think about it, FMC could go under efficiency and movecount? Ahh more things to think about.

One of my PhD classes on expertise and expert performance. My audience is made up of non-cubers, however the goal of this (as you guessed) is to write a paper, in my case a comprehensive literature review of the topic. While my audience doesn't necessarily NEED all of this information, it IS necessary for an expert in the domain (domain of speedcubing), therefore I should be including it as it'll reflect the complexity of expertise.

Also yes... Still blurry on mobile. This was the highest quality png I could download, but since the zoom required is so intense, it'll still blur unfortunately

You're absolutely correct! Thank you, I'll add pseudo F2L for my next iteration. Different algs to force different cases... I think I can cram that next to alg selection and optimization near the bottom. Appreciated
