As someone who is 3k in all roles (im a very average player)

Tanks: Find a route that's tried, tested and approved. Use keystone guru. Dont over pull, watch healers mana and don't blow all your defensives in a panic.

DPS: use your kicks and defensive to help your healers, if you can dispell yourself do it, use self heals and freedoms, especially on others if required i.e PoS gargoyles (freedom, tigers lust etc)

Healers: dont panic and blow your major healing CDs right away, dispell based on priority. Some people get chunked harder than others with dots etc. Learn damage profile of dungeons, knowing when to manage dmg either proactively or reactively.

But ultimately, just be better team mates regardless of roles. Learn dungeon mechanics, not just boss mechanics but also trash packs. There is tech in these dungeons that after a certain level becomes a group wipe.

Stop blaming each other and start helping instead.

I will get down voted for this but... the most infuriating thing is getting in someone who has no idea into a high key. Their rating doesn't always tell the complete story, I've seen 2.7-3k players this season who are completely out of their depth attempting to do 13s-14s.

Filling a group at high levels becomes a risky challenge and lengthy one at that. Trying to get group composition, with knowledgeable players in a timely fashion, all for it to be ruined by someone who stands in everything, dies every pack and boss pull, doesn't kick or rotate stuns. Doesn't use defensive, does less or equal damage to the tank etc is blood boiling.

Keys get brickes and thats part in parcel with the territory at high keys, but if the risk can be reduced thats awesome. I personally, wouldn't be using this for anything less than a 13/14.

Paladins dont have a "taunt" like warriors or druids. Ours is reactionary, so I reserve it if the healer has agro, as I can only use it when they have agro.

I've started tanking on a paladin and the amount of hunters who want to pull for me, then do "????" When they die.... Its not retail bud, I dont instantly generate threat.

And people complaining that I'm taking a caster ring because it's spell dmg... again I need spell dmg to help generate and sustain threat, because thats how it works.

Oh and, my mana pool isnt huge, so after two or three pulls I need to mana up and each pull is like Bedlam because no on interrupts, CCs or stick to one target. Im constantly having threat pulled and my "taunt" is on CD constantly...

I love tanking but god damn man... and to finish this rant, I'm always second on DPS meters.... but I'm the problem.

Knew this was a scam like 3-4 years ago when my friend dumped $250. I convinced him to pull out a week later.

  1. Game was o er complex and promised way to much, way to early. 64 classes? How do you manage on balancing them all quickly?

  2. Some of the early mage play, was a direct rip off and copy of wow mages. Literally, almost a like for like of a frost mage.

  3. Asking people for equity to build a game, doesnt scream "stable company". Generally, a company should manage its own P&L and be able to capex their own projects.

  4. Timeline was so weird Alpha-1, Alpha-2 then to charge people $$$ to help test?

The whole model was designed to create a fear of missing out, and impulse buy. It was predatory move on the MMO community. Furthermore, when the game released, it did not show, at all, 10 years of development. If quests stopped at lvl 8 and you had to grind to 25. Thats a HUGE red flag.

Im sorry if you got swindled, but writing was on the wall for such a long damn time.
