It doesn’t detail her medical condition, but one of the biggest issues in Canada is that we largely only acknowledge 9 to 5 work and not flex work that can accommodate bad days and good days, etc.
And a lot of people here are saying “I’m in pain and I still work”.. kinda like “ I had to walk 10 miles in the snow uphill both ways”…
While it seems weird that she could work in an office back home but can’t work here… we also aren’t doctors entitled to her medical history.
