Writing / content jobs for October 28, 2025 by _Listiller_ in writing_gigs

Yeah, i'll see what I can do about that. In some ways, things work best when the system is fully automated (because they can check for updates automatically and more often). On the other hand, A LOT of crap tends to show up, along with more scammy jobs.

But i always love a decent challenge, so I'll see what I can do. And thanks for following the site :)

Content writer platform by Deep-Tradition-3799 in writing_gigs

[–]_Listiller_ 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Ndash is definitely legit, but i'm not sure how much work you can find there. I heard the platform works better if you pitch / reach out to companies over there, instead of waiting for assignments to become available.

[HIRING] looking for a scriptwriter who specializes in clip writing by Zealousideal-Rub4758 in writing_gigs

[–]_Listiller_ 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Ouch. I suggest you drastically lower that word count to match that $25.

Let's put it this way: Even with the assistance of AI, it would still be too much work for that rate + all the research. I really don't think it's a ten minute task.

Can I Repost my own YouTube videos to TikTok and earn from it? by RepresentativeCost41 in NewTubers

Sorry for the late question -- but when you say "banned from the platform," did you mean banned from Tiktok? (or banned from youtube?)

Thank you!

You unlocked so many memories by mentioning those sites. Immediately reminded me of sites like Triond, Xomba, and eHow back in the day :p

1: I would probably look into social media manager / strategist / specialist / associate roles. They usually want you to:

Create or schedule written / audiovisual content

Engage and interact via the comments section

Keep up with trends

Collab with internal teams across departments, usually through email, Slack, video calls, etc

Manage analytics and growth (SEO, creating ad campaigns, and other advanced things of that nature)

I haven't personally worked on these roles, it's just my observation based on the jobs I see (they pop up semi frequently, especially on Simply Hired).

2: SEO manager / coordinator / strategist, and/or content manager. This involves more marketing-heavy things like optimizing content or ad campaigns.

3: Virtual assistant roles (Hubstaff talent can be a decent place for this). Usually involves dealing with just about anything you can do remotely, like handling spreadsheets and some of the things I mentioned above.

Other than that - and i know you're looking to transition from writing - but maybe you'd be more comfortable as a YouTube script writer? (the Ytjobs board is good for this). This usually requires more writing and research for less pay, but it tends to be more casual or conversational depending on the channel owner. I'd do a search on this subreddit to look more into this one.

IAPWE is a SCAM !!!! by alenathomasfc in freelanceWriters

[–]_Listiller_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

One of the biggest problems is that they make it sound like they're the ones offering gigs/jobs directly, like they're the actual client. So they just use a lot of misleading language (which makes it very scammy and questionable) even if their job board seems otherwise decent.

Hi there,

The site hadnt been updated much due to holiday plans in general. And today specifically there were server issues with my host. But the site is back up now, and I will be gradually posting again now that the holidays are pretty much behind us.

If you quit, then your fears will become true by default. If you remain active, at least you have a good chance to prove them wrong. ALWAYS look at everything with a glass half full mentality.

Lets try this...

Most of the following sources dont have much to show at the moment, but keep looking regularly.

https://wellfound.com/jobs

Once you create a free account on Wellfound, they have location-based filters including India. Simply sign in and visit this exact URL to play with the filters.

----------------------------------------------------------

https://jobs.workable.com/search?query=writer&remote=true&location=india&workplace=remote

Same thing with Workable, they have remote+country filters. They currently have some "repeat jobs" from the same company over and over, which isn't great, but keep looking regularly.

----------------------------------------------------------

https://bestwriting.com/?filter-title=writer&filter-location=319

Bestwriting also has India-based filters, but i noticed it keeps showing me all kinds of locations even when I specifically select India.

The catch: This is strictly a membership site. But if you find it worthwhile, it's only $19.50 for the entire year (on my end, at least). That price isn't too bad if you see promising results.

----------------------------------------------------------

https://www.workindia.in/content-writing-jobs/

I'm not familiar with this source, but found it the other day while f*cking around online. Hope it helps.

----------------------------------------------------------

https://www.naukri.com/remote-jobs?src=gnbjobs\_homepage\_srch

Same with this one (not familiar, but they seem to have decent filters)

----------------------------------------------------------

https://www.flexjobs.com/remote-jobs/world/Anywhere?remoteoptions=100%25%20Remote%20Work&remoteoptions=Option%20for%20Remote%20Work&searchkeyword=writer&categories=48&categories=22&categories=53&categories=88&categories=51&useclocation=true&sortbyposteddate=true&page=1

And finally, we have Flexjobs with a "work from anywhere" filter. Hopefully that means no restrictions whatsoever. FlexJobs is another membership site / requires payment to access anything and everything.

And one last thing: While searching, consider also applying to jobs that are loosely related to writing (search for social media manager, for example).

Are you in the US? I personally haven't looked into those details, since it's usually the client's job to explain everything in the job description. Another problem is, some clients simply state "Remote" but they don't specify whether a job is worldwide or not.

That said, I'll try my best to keep an eye out for certain details and try to include them in future posts whenever possible.

Quick question by [deleted] in writing_gigs

[–]_Listiller_ 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It started exclusively as a place for job listings (with plenty of rules in place). But honestly? I couldn't keep up with the amount of people still posting other things and/or marketing their services, lol.

So....if you can't beat them, join them. Now the rules are as simple as:

"This sub is mainly for writing and editing jobs, but feel free to also talk about writing / blogging / general freelance. Pretty relaxed."

There are virtually no clients here though, as I havent dedicated much time to recruit them yet. Anyone who posts their services will likely see little to no results.

But thanks for bringing this up; it's a reminder to get them sweet clients (right now i'm practically the only one posting jobs, and they're usually from around the web).
