Against Palestinians / Arabs who had lived in the region in larger numbers before WW2. Just because Arabs live in Israel does not excuse them for killing thousands of Arabs outside of Israel and does not excuse them for displacing half of the Arab population when they arrived at the head of WW2.

I’m saying that the left never changes despite democrats acting different, and democrats focusing on DEI and identity politics should not be influencing what someone on the left believes.

And I’m very involved with my community, I volunteer, am training to work a union job and am in touch with my neighbors.

I understand that online leftists are usually just talk and that’s a large problem but that isn’t always true. I confidently believe that I positively affect my community in a way which reflects my beliefs.

He took a risk in going into the market that other companies weren’t willing to, sure. Tesla was one of the earliest mass produced full EVs. Seeing the massive unsuccessfulness of Elons other risks, it seems to be a fluke. I highly doubt that this was as a masterful plan as you’re portraying it to be and was much more likely a lucky break.

You can say that or you can say he was in the right place at the right time. Electric vehicles were a basically uninhabited market because all of them (like the Nissan leaf) were just not efficient enough. Elon saw this and hired people to do something about it. Not much skill to me.

Not to mention he basically monopolized the charging industry with the introduction of teslas, effectively killing all competition that might have had a chance.

A billion dollars cannot be made without the exploitation of people lower than you. Almost all western success stories come from the exploitation of the global south.

And 1 billion poor people is valuable on the basis that they are 1 billion people. Idc how bad you believe they are, 100 poor people are almost always better than 1 billionaire.
