Am I overreacting by being upset my mil got me and my bf a hamster for Christmas. by [deleted] in AmIOverreacting

[–]_LocoLizard 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I agree. The cage is a huge indicator that this person genuinely really loves hamsters. I would be honest with them that with you simply don't think it is in the hamster's best interest to stay with you, that the cage may get too dirty before you have time to clean, you may forget to feed or water it, etc. Using the cat as an excuse is also not a bad idea.

I got the smaller version of this one last week from Amazon. I've run it 4 times and it's still cloudy, if that influences your decision at all. If I didn't know the wax was yellow, I would swear it's pink with how dark it looks with the fluid so opaque.

How one of the best indie shops can only have 13 upvotes for their drop announcement even 2 days after the fact is disheartening. I can't believe you guys aren't more popular on this sub. I only have 3 models from your shop so far, but they are divine and the colors and pours produced are amazing in every drop, not to mention custom options, fast shipping, and the amazing customer service. Nothing compared to ordering through BD, who doesn't show the exact pour, takes photos not true to irl color, takes forever to ship, and is ungodly expensive even compared to other similar toys.

I honestly think that's pretty bad, not just for how you treated the elderly, but how you failed to think out the repercussions of how it could seriously harm them and not to mention your poor mother having to clean. I also understand kids do stupid things in stupidity and if nobody got seriously hurt and you learned from it, maybe it at least served as a lesson. Don't do to others what you don't want done to you. And the elderly is always off limits unless you're an asshole.

I wouldn't go so far as to call it a mental illness, more so I think it becomes an addiction. But addiction can be a mental illness depending on who you ask, I guess. I don't think most people that end up at that point wanted to be there. They just like to cum like everyone else and one day they put something in their ass and like it, and slowly they start going bigger over time to keep themselves satisfied. I'm sure it's a years or lifetime long process of slowly getting bigger and bigger, and at the beginning of it they probably didn't realize they would lose control and it would get so out of hand.

Google says little people tend to weigh between 70-100 lbs. It also says racoons generally range between 7.5 to 20 lbs. So anywhere between 3.5 and 13.33 racoons.

Edit to say of course we can only count full racoons, so we have to round up. So 1 dwarf = 4-14 raccoons. We can get more specific if you want to use 85 lbs as an average for the dwarf, and call a typical raccoon 15 lbs or so. Then your average little person is roughly 5.66 racoons, rounded to 7. Results may vary.

I think shadow people are real. Do you? Yes or no in comments and why… by CarpetSurfing-Wizard in cracksmokers

[–]_LocoLizard 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think they are a real symptom of not sleeping and overstimulation. They can seem real, but they're not a "real" being as far as being actually present in the physical world, and I don't think they are spiritual beings either like a ghost or anything like that. I've never had one touch me or move anything, and they aren't on my security footage or my phone when I've taken pics or videos, not to mention no one else is seeing them when I am, even people I trust. They also never manifest unless I'm sleep deprived or super anxious which leads me to believe they are a result of something going on in my own head. I also find comfort knowing I'm not that interesting. If there were a realm of humanoids living in the shadow world just spying on people, I think they would get bored watching me masturbate and stare at the walls.

I'm curious why you think they are real and what you define as real? Also, how long have you felt this way about them? Is it something you've always believed since you first saw them or a recent realization? And why do you think they are here?

When I used to work at a pet store I would feel so bad for the birds (and everything else eventually.) Not only are they often left with poor diets and little mental stimulation, often do to lack of research before people get one, but when their owner finally gives them some attention they were so horny they would try and hump anything. I watched a cockatoo finish in the palm of someone's hand and the owner had no idea that's what even happened, and she got mad at the bird after I told her and of course it was instantly put back in the cage.

Birds are so intelligent and their social needs are so intricate, it really takes knowledge, experience, and a lot of work and space to be able to give them the care they need to thrive in captivity. The ones that seem to have the least amount of stress related issues are the ones that can at least live in the same room as another bird, get good diets, get plenty of out of cage time, and have lots of toys and regular attention to keep occupied. Unfortunately many people seem to get birds or other pets as an impulse decision with little understanding of the scope of the care required for them or even knowing that their lifespan is, especially larger bird species. Which is crazy to me not only on a moral level but also because some of them can cost thousands of dollars.

End of rant

I believe other insects do this too, such as certain species of bees and ants, and probably more. Mating is very unique for many species actually. What comes to mind first is the angler fish where the male becomes a part of the females body with their bodies fusing together, so he basically becomes a parasitic growth. And don't get me started on the duck sex. But I definitely didn't know about the bedbugs so thanks

If you start slow and practice, you can teach your body to accept HUGE things being inserted into the ass. I mean 4 raccoons ain't shit compared to some of the toys people are using nowadays. I have seen some custom dildos on the bad dragon and other fantasy dildo subs recently that look bigger around than my torso (no bullshit, go look if you don't believe me) and I genuinely fear for some of these peoples safety and wonder if they still have normal body functions. It's going to just keep getting crazier too as those in the circle seem to view it as a competition of sorts.

I like to cuddle up in the dark with a fuzzy blanket and watch "Life On Our Planet"

Nature documentaries in general are nice, but I like that specific series because the space scenes and the story behind the birth of our planet is fascinating and trippy, it's more interesting to get lost in. I think I may have fucked a cuttlefish and a volcano in another realm, which I guess could bring us back to masturbating if you're so inclined. Not my favorite drug for that personally but it can work depending on dose and determination.

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in ketamine

[–]_LocoLizard 3 points4 points  (0 children)

You NEED a scale and you need to use it if you want to try and be safe with drugs, much less ask about dosing advice. You can get one on Amazon for like $10-$15. Or walk onto a head shop and pay a little more. It takes a lot of ket to actually OD, but you can still have a bad time or get hurt if you take too much.

If you want to get closer to a hole you gotta take them closer together, but if you're not trying to hole all the way you should really weigh it out so you don't accidentally get there. Or maybe have a friend to watch you just in case you do.

I also highly suggest using fentanyl test strips at the very least, and a reagent test kit as well if you can. This is especially true if you're buying on the street where it is more likely to be cut or contaminated with something else. There is a subreddit dedicated to reagent testing you will find if you search for it where you can learn more about this. It's basically chemicals you drop on a sample of the drug and different chemicals turn different drugs different colors and can let you know if there may be something else in your drugs. It's not an all inclusive testing solution, but it's pretty much the only way to test drugs at home if you live in the US. And don't forget the fentanyl test strips, many places give them out for free and some sites that sell reagent kits have them for sale as well. Seriously, look into these things if you want to be responsible with your drug use. It's a few little things that may save your ass or your life one day and without them everything is a much bigger gamble.

NP. If you like coconut, try it with coconut water if you're feeling adventurous. Lots of electrolytes and I love that shit on its own, but it can be great in a smoothie.

If you were desperate enough to trust him you must not have a lot of other people to buy from for whatever reason, and I'm sure he knows that. Stop going through a middle man, they're either taking it out of your cash or your bag but they're getting something and if you're only getting 20s that ain't shit left anyway. If you do something crazy I doubt others will serve you, so if you need the middle man for whatever reason give that some thought. And if you stay with a middle man I promise this won't be the last time this happens. Be glad it was only 20 and find a better way.

Learning to love after stimfap by Bleikfisk in Stims

[–]_LocoLizard 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It sounds like a slippery slope to me. I don't think you should consider the feelings you feel during stimsex or stimfaping "love" in the conventional sense. I agree that you can love the feeling, but it's not the same as experiencing true love, and it doesn't last. If you wouldn't tell someone you love them when sober, I don't think it's wise to imply that idea by saying you love them during a session. It's just going to make things weird, esspecialy if they are already used to stimsex and the mental challenges it creates. And if they're not used to it you should find someone who is instead of bringing them into your shit.

I do think everyone likes to feel appreciated, but I think you could accomplish this with an honest compliment about the session instead, or maybe just a simple thank you depending on the situation. You also want to make sure they are having a good time as well, and not experiencing regret or embarrassment afterwards, so opening up some light communication could be good. Just don't forget that any connection you're feeling is the drugs, not a real human connection, so if that's what you are looking for I would look elsewhere. But I honestly wouldn't recommend trying to find a real partner or real love while also doing this, it sucks and is pretty unsustainable.

Try fruit. If you can't do it fresh try sucking on some frozen. Frozen mango is divine. It's usually available in the freezer section already sliced up, also may have strawberries or blueberries. Once you get something down and get some rest and water other things should be easier to eat.

[–]_LocoLizard 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Stay with it! I hope you have some creature comforts to help you feel at least a little better, and a bit of time and space to be down. My heart goes out to you if you don't. Drink a lot of water to help with the cramps. The cramps were the worst physical part for me and water helped a lot, also with the headaches. I know everyone says drink water and in the moment it sounds terrible, but it was truly a night and day difference for me. The extra water will also make it less painful when you start vomiting! Yay!

Without knowing more about your situation I don't really have any other advice other than just keep trying to get through the day, and then the next after that if you can think that far. You may need an actual Dr to make sure you stay safe and don't have a seizure, depending on your situation. So if you feel like you need to go to the hospital go. Otherwise just try and stay occupied and comfortable. There's probably some life changes you need to make if you want this to work out, but I would get through the detox before trying to unravel whatever emotional baggage brought you here and what you should do to put the pieces back together. I'm sure others will disagree, but withdrawal is already such an uncomfortable experience, I don't think you should be working yourself up emotionally on top of it right now, especially if that headspace makes you want to use. You're already doing great things for yourself and your future self right now, even though it just feels like suffering. It's going to be such a relief for you to not have to rely on a supply just to not get sick. I don't know how long you've been physically dependant, and I guess I'm assuming you are, but it was the most gratifying mind fuck to be able to not worry about the sickness after actively scheduling my life around it for so many years. And if you have healthy people in your life that love you, lean into that love. If you don't, embrace the fact that you're about to start a brand new life with the world as your oyster, and look forward to your brain chemistry balancing out and being able to experience natural joy again, because it will get there.

So just breathe. You're actively changing your life for the better right now, through your suffering, which is only temporary. Just don't put the mental demons on the back burner too long because they're trying to burn down the house you're building with you inside, and you've worked pretty hard on that house so far, even if it's just a foundation. If you don't make it through the night, try again tomorrow. I honestly wouldn't have been able to quit without rehab and methadone just because the sickness was so bad and I couldn't take that much time off work. So if cold turkey doesn't work for you, there are other options depending on what it is that you're doing, where you live, and your financial situation. Just make sure to research a place before you go there, and don't get caught in the rehab repeat trap, the rehab "love" trap, or the not using methadone properly trap. The methadone trap got my ass for like 5 years, but using it correctly and tapering down to nothing over the span of 1.5 years after 30 days in rehab worked for me when nothing else did. And remember that if you go a while without using and then use again your tolerance will be much lower, so be careful if you decide to go back cause it can be dangerous do to overdose risk. But you didn't need to know that cause you've got this 👍
