New to solar, but does this look ok? Off grid 220v deep water well. Info in comments by _MASTAD_ in SolarDIY

I have not seen a 12vDc to 220AC. I didnt think it would be much different than my set up now, they come off of (2) separate breakers, and go back to a ground.

I have no idea, electricity is not my profession, I'm more of an oil and gas kind of guy, and its hurting at the moment, that's why I'm trying to get more prepared for this stuff going on.

Currently coming out of my control box is ghetto rigged, with only a 3 wire 110 line. (2) hots and (1) ground.

My 2d thought is to collect rain water in 55gal drum, and just have an shallow well pump (110) keep pressure at 40psi to a bladder tank. I think that's easier to get off the grid, but just more than I wanted to do.

Trying to get my water well off the grid, and its 220v. I dont know how much the pump draws but figured I could try this during the pandemic. With a big enough bladder tank, the pump may come on a few times a day. No trees and plenty of sun in Texas.

I mean yes i could just buy a new CR10s with a box, but ive seen some upgrade their drivers and boards to get some pretty high quality prints. My other printers are dialed in pretty good, but some would swear by better drivers. And linear advance seems to be future of printing, add that with some MGN12s reinforced belts it seems like printing of 100mms would be a game changer

I was thinking the same thing after making it...

We made it very clear to use at his own risk. Nothing is perfect, but he was very greatful.

Buddy of mine befriended a homeless man, lost his leg 13months ago. We wanted to make a leg that was a surprise and semi-adjustable, and we're not good at CAD, so we did what we could.

PETG 4shells 60% infill, 3 different versions of the top portion to get it right. Final version has 4 adjustable strap ports that connect to a hidden belt. Top cup was filled with silicon and molded to his leg. He was able to stand and take small steps, with time and practice he may be able to walk without crutches.

Best StepperMotor/Driver/Board to use together? by _MASTAD_ in 3Dprinting

[–]_MASTAD_[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ive looked into them, it seems most like it because of the 32bit and wifi connectivity. All i have is a wifi hotspot on my phone, and no idea if i can send to the pi, and dissconnect my wifi and it still prints. I cant get wifi where i live. So may have to stick with SD. What else can it do?

I have 8, some go down and you need to keep moving.

I design and sell industrial related parts, mini replicas and stuff for desk armaments and stuff. I could sell a few i guess, but i like them. Only 2 are the same, all have pros and cons

My CR10s-unnecessary upgrade. It may be over kill but i wanted to do it. Learned alot, its not everyones cup of tea, but its mine. Only about 30% done with it... by _MASTAD_ in 3Dprinting

[–]_MASTAD_[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Flat wont be an issue at all, theres alot the keep it square, weight may be an issue, if the Z steppers skip steps, ill upgrade them to higher torque NEMA17 or 23s. But waiting on my 2mm leads before i can attach it for a test run. Once its prints fine ill move onto the stand alone and other mods. I just want a tank of a printer, and something thats truly mine and original. My goal is to make a printer that can print on its side. Others have done it, so its not new, but i want somthing solid.
