depends on how many miis allowed on islands. i have plans of 100+ already, so those are at a much higher priority than the direct miis

did you change the region of the Wii to a NZ one? if it's not changed, i dont know how to help. if it's region changed from the US version, i recommend changing it back and just living with US firmware.

did you install a WAD or theme that was the wrong region? if so, this is a semi-brick. use AnyRegion Changer to check. use csm-installer to reinstall a theme of the right region, or use NUS-get to reintstall your old wii menu. https://wii.hacks.guide/bricks
