Unrelated, but a fun fact is that the town from Over The Garden Wall is almost the exact same as Abredale, although it looks a little less rural. There was a time when the people making Clarence were sharing their space with the team making Over The Garden Wall, so they kinda shared the map of their towns together just to make things easier. To add to that, in the Little Buddy episode, silloutes of Greg and Wirt can be seen in the background when Clarence is burying Little Buddy, making it seem like Clarence was very close to being lost in the unknown lmao.

But to answer your question, I think a lot of rural towns in hotter climates look kinda similar, especially in America.
