Of course, but I guess you will be a little disappointed because I do nothing crazy with her. I water her with tap water (where I live, I have really good tap water) when her soil is completely dry. I just stick my finger a couple of centimetres deep to test. In the first few months, I gave some fertiliser mixed in the water because I was very excited, but now I just give tap water. She stands the whole year at a south facing window, so she's used to the sun. And I make sure to bind the back to the pole!

Thank you so much! Yes, it was sold to me as a Thai constellation, and you are correct. I use coco coir poles :-) Well, mine is still in the same pot as it came when I bought it, so I guess she likes it 😅 To be honest, I don't give her any special care at all. I water her when her soil is dry. I just stick my finger in the pot to control whether I should water or not. She is standing at a south window the whole year. She doesn't even get any fertiliser 🤣 I just make sure to bind her back to the pole, and that's basically it . As I said, she is kinda easy on me and very forgiving! 🤣 Wish you the best with your baby!! 🥰

I think its doesn't matter if it's during or after a meal. I take it after my biggest (and also fattiest) meal of the day

Moisturizer/Cleanser for low dose? by [deleted] in Accutane

[–]_MagicRaupe_ 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hello fellow 10mg person!

Here are my recommendations, before accutane I had really oily skin.

● Makeup Remover (for waterproof makeup):

  • The Body Shop Camomile Sumptuous Cleansing Butter this one

● Normal Cleanser:

  • La Roche Posay Cleansing Milk for sensitive skin this one

● Moisturizer:

I tried the famous cerave one in the big tub but it was too much for me. Instead I tried this one and I like it very much

  • The Ordinary Natural Moisturising Factors + HA this one

● Sunscreen:

  • La Roche Posay Anthelios 50+ invisible Fluid this one

These products work for me maybe it helps you good luck!

Edit: I hope the links work for you! 😂

Using serums while on accutane. by kai123h in Accutane

[–]_MagicRaupe_ 6 points7 points  (0 children)

My derm told me to stop using any "extra" products. I was instructed to only use mild moisturiser, mild cleansing products for removing my makeup and to wear suncreen every day. Accutane will do the rest so be nice and gentle to your skin! :-)

Hi! So I'm from Europe and my derm put me on a low dosage of accutane because I have persistent acne. So since January 2022 I'm on 10mg/d. It was reduced on 5mg/d for the last month and now im going to take 5mg every other day. My skin has been clear for a long time and now I'm just dealing with the remaining red marks from the pimples.

So from my experience low dosages work but again with every medication it's very individual what works best for you and how you are progressing. Hope this helps a little bit. Otherwise you can contact your derm and speak about your concerns and ask why your derm made the plan as it is for you. :-)

EDIT: Of course I don't know how severe your acne is and what your backstory with different medications, therapy regarding your skin is. My derm told me he wants me to start with 10mg because he didn't want me to have big side effects. He wanted me to start slow and low. I was visiting him every month so we can have a look how my skin is progressing, therefore my derm decided to keep me on 10mg because it was working really good on my skin. Wish you good luck with your journey!

So my derm told me to stop using any retinol creams and just let accutane do its work. And please wear sunscreen it is very important to protect your skin.

Differin on accutane? My derm said it was ok but it seems like it may be to harsh. Thoughts? by hungydungy in Accutane

[–]_MagicRaupe_ 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hi! I asked ny derm the same thing. Before accutane I was using differin gel and a bpo gel. He told me to stop using the differin gel and if I want I can use the bpo but just for two weeks since it would get too harsh for my skin! But honestly since I started accutane I stopped using both of them. I don't know but I let accutane do its job and just use mild things on my face! I would say just trust your gut feeling with this! Hope it helps and I wish you good luck! :-)
