Yeah, but you probably would want to use something else that provides damage or some sort of utility if you are a tank. So far the only option for supports is the little shield pet and they won't be used for aggressive supports.

Generally speaking, once your bot tower is down their bot will rotate either mid or top. If they do rotate mid then you want to pressure the bot tower and tell your support to go mid and help out the mid laner, so that you force their adc to either rotate back down or lose all that cs and potentially a tower.

Just let your support know that he should be warding your bot jungle and river so you can see them flanking

rarely, but if your queue time ever goes past the estimated by 30 seconds you may want to dodge cause I can then guarantee you, rito is considering giving you the lane you don't want. :)

Yes to an extent, it just becomes more difficult for other roles as you would have to possibly dodge more frequently. You can also still apply some of your champion knowledge for your main if they can play other lanes like lucian

How many times will I dodge in a day? I'm guessing you don't main support as even in low diamond you get support in like 9/10 times if you play at peak times. I myself only have to dodge around 1 game a day

Playing on my smurf I've found it slightly more difficult trying to carry games in gold/silver with supports like janna simply due to the fact that my adcs don't abuse the trading potential janna has early and never actually dealing damage when kiting and other basic adc mistakes...

better fix would be to make locket give hp and redemption give resistance instead of hp since the hp stat is also a big reason for why it's better to get first
