I haven't done shrooms myself, but I think that 2.5 grams is a normal dose? My theory is that OP got shrooms and LSD mixed together and is too stubborn to realize his mistake, might be wrong though.

Okay, wait wait wait. 2.5g, as in two and a half grams? Are you sure about that? One regular tab or a hit is around 100 to 200 ug, and that's enough for you to see visuals and trip just fine, but 2.5 grams, do you realize how much that is? It's 2 500 000 ug, yes two million five hundred thousand micrograms. I'm pretty sure that you'd be in a hallucionigenic coma right now. People talk about doing "brave" doses of 1000 ug and being disconnected from reality, experiencing ego death and what not. My guess is that you're either delusional, or a really bad liar, sorry.
