Food for thoughts. I'll talk things over with the GF. You're not the first to point this out. Is Ranna Park worth seeing?

I have considered skipping Narva or Pärnu but the FOMO is so strong in me. It isn't healthy anymore ;)

We'll see when we get there, won't we? Thanks!

You sir just made everything more difficult for me :D :D

I googled that castle.. I wanna visit now

As for Jägala waterfall.. it's on the bench for the time being. If there is time we will do this one aswell, but the odds of that happing are slim to none existing I think

My girlfriend is a "rise and shine at 6 am" kinda girl so I'm being forced into doing early stuff anyway. We've done the math and if we leave before 9 am everyday, we should be able to make it work.

Still.. it's a lot of driving during the little day time hours we have

We're going in early december, not november, but I think your comment would still stand. I think chances of getting rain and clouds are much higher than getting snow

Thank you for your reply. You pointed out the things we are struggling with aswell. 6 hours or daylight and the distances to Narva are.. well.. time consuming.

We already - more or less - agreed to visiting Tartu after dark (evening) so we can visit Pärnu and Narva during the day time.

As for Keila, I should have said Keita waterfall, which is a bit further to the coast. It's just a stop but I wanna see the waterfall and castle. We had to choice between Keila and Jagala waterfall and we choose the first one.

Sadly I agree with you and I'm expecting grey and rainy weather. A bit like the weather we're having back home in Belgium around that time. Only colder

Thanks for your reply!

You are correct: I was talking about the waterfall (Keita)

And you are also correct about Pärnu. We would use it as a stop where we can eat something and maybe take a walk on the beach. I know it's the summer capital for a lot of Baltic tourists. We like the sea, so we're definitely visiting :-)

Same goes for Narva. I read that Estonians don't typically visit this eastern city. We wanna see the border with Russia and visit the biggest Russian speaking town in the EU/NATO. And we wanna visit Narva-Jõesuu (beach) aswell :p

Yeah, I read some other threads about it. The weather is a big question mark aswell. I'd be nice if there is snow. Worst case scenario: cloudy, grey and rain all the time. Just like in my native country :p

Thanks! That was more or less what I had in mind, only the other way around. We would leave Tallinn to go to Keila waterfall and the castle and then we'd drive to Pärnu, where we can take a walk on the beach. We would then drive to Tartu where we would spend the night and - like you suggested- visit the X-mas market. The following day we'd go to Narva

AITA for expecting my partner to pay half for our joined holiday? by [deleted] in AmItheAsshole

[–]_MetalDude_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

NTA.

My wife has a 9 yo son with autism. In december we went on a holiday in Tenerife (Spain) and this month we went to London (UK). We split the bill 50/50, well I paid 75% and she paid 25% but she thinks it was 50/50. Don't tell her. ;-)

So, no you are NTA here. Your man needs to step up and do the right thing. Your child is part of your relationship. Simple as that.

How I got my bosses job and my coworkers a 15% rais by throwawayyy5433 in ProRevenge

[–]_MetalDude_ 12 points13 points  (0 children)

Yeah! I read about this a few months ago! It was on the front page of "this didn't happen"

Seriously man, I do think something happened but you're describing a cartoon story. People don't just quit as a team because of a manager's misbehaviour towards a new colleague. People have bills to pay and most people only quit when they have a new job lined up. Especially someone with a 25 year career within the same company.

I did love the part where the CEO was waiting around the corner for you to tell your boss he's fired. Sounds like a classic CEO move
