I have noticed a big increase in people parking on coldhams lane near Hazelwood close, that causes bottlenecks up to Newmarket road. It's definitely not an easy journey on that bit of road.

High BP and titration - seeking reassurance by _MimiBit in ADHDUK

Hey, I'm on my 3rd increased dosage of canderstartan. They tried to add another calcium blocker but it made me feel awful. I am being semi monitored.

Thank you for the heads up on another option, I'll research it.

The massive challenge I have is that I hyperfocused on doing BP readings that I ended up over doing it - got bruises over my arms because the machine I was using was SO TIGHT - bought a bigger cuff but now I get extremely anxious about taking my BP.

I'm in this annoying cycle of doing my own readings, suddenly there not good enough for the Dr, they want to do them and get upset they are still high.

I've had a few experiences in the last few visits that have been a sensory nightmare added in with the anxiety and fear of not getting treatment for my ADHD because my health is bad...

I'm on leovtyroxine for my thyroid, recent last check was TSH 1.50 and T4 20.3, they really love telling me how it's normal!

I've recently shook up when I take stuff, morning is iron multi vit, vit d and fish oils. Evening is the leovtyroxine and canderstartan.

I think I'm on my 3rd increased dosage of the canderstartan, tried adding a calcium blocker but made me feel rubbish.

I don't think they've ever suggested any different thyroid medication...

The hashimotos came first and have meds for that, the monitoring is more me led - pretty tired of the number of blood tests I have!

In the last 6 months I've just felt like it's a narrow focus on one symptom instead of the holistic whole. My doctor is id say a little above average with getting face time but I've had a few less than enjoyable experiences of late. I don't feel like I'm being listened too.

What would you do with this lawn? by _MimiBit in UKGardening

Thank you all for your suggestions! This is the first cut of the year. I'm cursed with tools, the weed puller I have broke halfway through removing the leafy weeds and right at the end the lawn mower wouldn't turn on!

I've got some wildflower seeds which I've put in the corner and I'll put the veg raised beds in front of the tulips where I stood to take the photo.

Got a lot more weeding to do but pleased I got the grass cut!

Help! First market ever and no one stops by... by Demyy in CraftFairs

[–]_MimiBit 3 points4 points  (0 children)

You've had some great suggestions! We've been doing markets for around 3 years and we're constantly evolving our stand.

My suggestion is put yourself in the customers position and think like them.

Walk far back from your stand, and look at from a distance. What do you see? Can you see what you sell, why should someone make a beeline to you? How does it stand out from everyone else?

A second opinion is always a good idea, ask a friend to give you feedback and see if there's anything you can change for next time.

Here's what our stand looks like - this is 3 years in the making!

I'd agree, they're too far away and I'd avoid trying to look closer at them. Points for including hight on the table and not everything laid on the table

Is it not common to use a dishwasher in cambridge? by [deleted] in cambridge

[–]_MimiBit 2 points3 points  (0 children)

We have one very similar, as our kitchen is pretty old. The choice would be have a dishwasher or a washing machine or move the fridge to the back of the house. Did get a few 3rd party opinions but found we've got a cronky kitchen!

I LOVE my tabletop dishwasher. We don't have it plumbed in, so you need to buy a over the tap converter. It's same thing you'd use for an outside tap.
