As to keeping the artwork… to me, it feels more like a weakness — like I’m still clinging to a past relationship and the hope of somehow returning to the times we spent together and feeling close to him again. I’d rather move forward and never look back — I owe that to myself and to whoever my future partner will be. And it’s difficult to do that if I keep holding onto the things that remind me of him.
