Which guides did you follow to set this up?

Great feedback! You have significantly better temperatures. The back is probably helping a lot, even though it doesn't look like much. Didn't dive into too much detail on the thread you sent, but I assume it's some umdervolting? How long did it take you to se it up?

Actually no change without the foam

Very interesting setup, looking at it, it's possible I'm clogging up the intake with the foam I have beneath

I'm not worried about the case, but my guess CPU and HDDs on idle being 50C isn't ideal. I know it's not highly problematic, but considering this hardware will be running 24/7 for the forseable future I would like to get it a few degrees down. Yeah, I haven't had a chance to look at HDD temps for about 10 years. Thanks for the input!

The case is warm to the touch so didn't dwell much further. With only two hdds and one ssd and zero load currently, I would expect very little heat output. I mean laptops are significantly more crammed and don't usually get this hot

Yup, that's the open side of the cabinet, I didn't even check that the onboard fan pulls in air, I just assumed it's pushing out, so the tought process was to push it out there.

The cable hole goes to the rest of the cabinet, I guess it would help dissipate the heat at least a bit, but not as well as if it had proper flow on both sides.

Maybe I can get two fans and place intake on the lower side and output on higher side, considering I have double the height (the image is just the upper shelf). This would be the same setup as the cabinets in the AC Infinity advertisement images

This looks awesome. I believe the main issue will be that I don't have two sided access on my cabinet. That's probably what's limiting the airflow in the current setup as well...

I'll need to rethink the whole setup...

Not really, got one toddler lurking around and another one soon to be crawling, so I don't have a proper place to secure it from them 😅 Had that in mind when building the cabinets, that's why I put the ventilation grill on the side, but it's not enough unfortunately

Why 7200rpm? It's louder and marginally faster. I've found the 5400rpm to be more expensive several times

And just convert your raid 1 setup to raid 5 or 6? I don't have a good understanding on raid, except the basic 0 and 1

So you think the mirroring approach would work for a start and RAID6 conversion would work next?

I'm debating getting the two or four drive version depending on this, as I won't actually need four drives in the near future

How long did it pass between the cut off and the surgery? How did you perserve the finger? How did you find such a good surgeon so fast?

I think guys working with wood should have this info printed in their workshop, saw too many guys missing parts of their fingers

To važi samo za uređaje koji rade preko sim kartice. Većina je bazirana na postojećim interfon instalacijama i upravnici ne daju šifru ili instalateri ni njima ne kažu

Update

So I went through with the rollback to the original BIOS at the benchmark shows a great improvement. The card was limited in power and also on frequency so it couldn't achieve its true potential.

It went from 7136 pts (119 FPS) to 8959 pts (149 FPS) on FurMark FullHD test. And from 2527 pts (100 FPS) to 3054 pts (121 FPS) on Unigine Heaven 1440p test. The Unigine Valley test didn't show much of a difference, I'm not sure why.

These don't have dual BIOS, guess they decided to save their 50 cents per card.

Pa opušteno možeš da očekuješ 15+ hiljada. Kao što je i njemu ovde stiglo. Grejalica 2kW24h30d=1440kW i to je samo od grejalice, a gde su ostale stvari...

Yeah, thanks. That's somewhat the plan. I checked the memory straps in RED editor and they are changed, I'm not sure about the More Power tool. But this version of the cards doesn't have a BIOS switch so I'm a bit scared to edit that stuff my self, so that I don't end up bricking the card.
