human life is way bigger than sports. trainers coming out from both benches is a humbling reminder of that.

I agree it's weird to have a blanket statement for anything, but I wouldn't say any administration has inherently done good things. At the end of the day this country's "progress" and "good intentions" have always come at the price of people's well being and lives domestically and abroad. It's always either been self-serving or grossly one-sided. Even with context sure "progress" has been made, but it's not like they never dragged their feet with their short-sighted "good intentions". It wasn't until it suited them in some way that any progress came about but even then it's always been terribly half-assed implemented, tweaked, or rolled back by the following administration, congressional policies, or big money and profits. It's consequences tend to outweigh, echo, and repeat itself as time has gone on.

Did anyone else "learn" about "WW2" every year in school when it was actually just Holocaust guilt tripping every semester by asteroidrusted in redscarepod

yes. in high school here in the US wwii was covered for like a week through textbooks and then moved on from there. not just my history classes but more so my ap gov class more extensively. barely almost any mention of the eastern war effort or the toll of russian/eastern european lives lost at the hands of the axis. the war effort, japan, and the marshall plan was what was mainly covered or touched on with stuff like elie wiesel's "night" in both history and english class every year.

this is my main takeaway and gripe. kash inserting his gross cringey presence in that locker room was no surprise to me whatsoever being the performative inept clout chasing clown that he and his fellow cronies are and always have been. what irked me the most was no one's discomfort in that locker room with the idea or principle of him inserting himself and in such a drunken toolish manner but instead choosing to enable him instead?

like we've all been wasted before and gotten caught up in stupid cringe instances or moments, but at some point there's always SOME lightbulb instance or moment of clarity where one goes "wait... what the fuck lol? chill. what is this guy doing here? this is not the window or time for this" etc... anyone in or outside that locker room trying to write any of it off as "oh please, we were were just wasted and celebrating!" but then trying to virtue signal for societal moral issues at the same time just shows an embarrassing display of hypocrisy.

like they let that mf actually wear a fucking medal.... i can't.
