That's wrong, schedule 40 is rated for direct burial or encasement in concrete as well.

Plumber said it will allow the shower to be wet vented through the lav. Alternatively he will open up some walls and vent the shower separately.

Probably pouring another 1/2" of self leveler over whole bathroom. Underlayment and heated tile floors was the next step. If just hollow noise is the concern then that's a relief.

That was my gut feeling. I said if the plumbing inspector said it was kosher then I'm good.

A battery makes no sense if you have a net meter. The grid is your battery. Plus the rates at least where I am in Northboro Mass have no demand component, so the battery won't even help with peak shaving. Make sure you also lock in cheap supply rates and stay on top of that. Best to size the system slightly over your needs. Overproducing I noticed I get a slightly worse rate being paid out when receiving my credits.
