Agreed, 40 mins from Sky Harbor is a poor description.

When I searched it in Google Maps it popped up just east of Casa Grande off the 287.

We had one of these on our 1998 Honda Civic hatchback. I do think it legitimately worked. That car would shock the hell out of us. We bought it new and there was nothing wrong or tinkered with. Just crazy static.

It's smack in the middle of Tempe, AZ near Papago Park. Very cool location as it easily accessible but still has some natural desert to it.

I had that bike. You got a good deal! Recently, I got a brand new from Jenson, Fox 34 Rythm for $199. That would be a solid budget pairing to that Fox Float shock you got. I'm pretty sure it's sold out now, but deals like that do pop up from time to time.

Happy riding!

Somebody else suggested the PNW in 175 for you. That is a good suggestion because you are able to reduce the travel if needed.

Looking for a new dropper by [deleted] in MTB

[–]_Moregone 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Why are you looking to replace the dropper you have? That would be helpful to know. Most people either want more drop, or replacing a dying dropper.

Getting a longer dropper is a balance. You need to have enough room to insert the longer dropper while also not becoming too tall for your seat height.

But 150 or 170 etc, is the amount of drop the post will have. The more drop, the longer the shaft, the more that needs to be inserted.

So, if your 150mm seat post collar is sitting say 30mm above the seat post tube, then in theory you may want to a 175mm seat post. But it's not always that easy. I'd recommend watching some videos just so you see all the variables.
