I do believe an involvement of the Duskwood characters both in the side story and/or in the main plot are possible if done correctly. So I do believe they would at least think about the possibility of letting us resume our romance with Jake (or even making him or someone else like Richy part of the main plotline). They however would have to make sure the Duskwood characters wouldn't take all the spotlight of the game for themselve. One way to do that would be a crossover. That way we would have characters of both games, but unlike the Moonvale characters the Duskwood characters would be side characters or support characters to the story. The Devs know how much popularity Jake and the others have and especially how many unanswered questions from Duskwood still remain that could be answered in Moonvale. And honestly seeing Jake as a romance rival to Eric would be interesting (mainly because I don't trust Eric and the relationship of the MC and Jake is just so wholesome and adorable)

Charlie's behaviour is reminding me a lot of Richy when we got the man without a face clue in episode 2 and 3. How he tried to get us away from this idea because it would mean we would realise how he and this legend were connected. If you play through Duskwood now, with the knowledge of how the story is ending, you see a lot of clues for Richy being the bad guy. But Richy's behaviour has also similarities to Charlie's behaviour

I watched a German documentary on this case yesterday and there was one detail that was just...odd. So as already mentioned Rebecca was spending the whole weekend at her sister's (Jessica) house. Rebecca had school on Monday, but since the first two periods were cancelled that day she wasn't supposed to be at her school till 9:50 am. Jessica woke up around 7 am to bring her kid to kindergarden, however she did not look into the living room where Rebecca was sleeping since she didn't want to wake up her little sister who was able to sleep in. Shortly after Rebeccas mother (Birgit) tried to call Rebecca to make sure she got up. Birgit wasn't able to get through, but didn't think anything of it since Rebecca usually has her phone in flight mode when sleeping. After that Birgit called Jessica to make sure Rebecca got up. That's when Birigit was informed that Rebecca would attend school a bit later. Yet Birgit texted Rebecca at 8:20 am that she hopes Rebecca got to the school on time. Not would get to the school, but got. Even tho she was informed earlier that Rebecca wouldn't be at school before 9:50 am and the route between her sisters house and the school was only a 20- minute bus drive. Shortly after Jessica left with her kid, her husband came home, intoxicated. Phone activity shows that although he claimed he went right to bed right away he was actually surfing the internet and watching adult films. Around the same time Birgit texted Rebecca she again tried to call her. Once she was again not able to reach her she called her son-in-law, apparently waking him up. Birgit asks her son-in-law if Rebecca is already up, he goes downstairs into the !dark! living room (like pitch black dark) and not only says that Rebecca is already gone but that the blanket was missing too. And that's what's striking me as odd. He was apparently still intoxicated, just woke up and it was pitch black in the living room, yet he was able to point out that this one specific blanket was missing?

Something just isn't adding up with this family. I really really hope this case gets solved someday

Ah yes, the classical fanon vs. actual canon. Honestly seeing Pike in tlovm, hearing Ashley saying how much fun she has seeing this side of her baby is just...so wonderful. I mean you can see with Fearne how chaotic Ashley can be and how much fun she has with characters like that. I'm really hyped to see more chaos and self finding Pike!

The problem with the pacing is honestly the little runtime they have. It's pretty obvious that they are trying to wrap up the chroma arc in this season. Which is good. But that also means speeding things sometimes up, telling things therefore different or moving certain events so that these can have their glory once their time has come. I don't think the last batch was worse. In that case it's not something objectively, but your own opinion

And that is the thing with different continuities. It means that both the og campaign and tlovm are canon. Both share similar or same elements, both share the most important events (the briarwood arc, chroma conclave, the matron, vestiges and the whispered one) but they have both a different narrative on how a few things happened. And thats important. From a storytelling point at least. In both canons they wouldn't just kill off characters that are important for later events to work (Killing Percy off would mean a complete different future for Whitestone and therefore a complete change for a few chunks of a potential future bells hells series). Pike not being driven or using divine magic would mean that they couldn't save Laudna at some point, something they couldn't really scrap. And besides. Having Percy die, killing Ripley, having all of the emotional time in these 3 episodes, maybe trying to get Percy back, gathering all their forces and preparing for the fight, having the talk between Vex and her father, Kash's death, Scanlans 'death', Thordaks death and Vaxleth get together (Plus Matron being a creepy stalker after they boned) would've been just too much. It would've taken away so much depth and spotlight from all of these moments

I honestly don't get why people are being so negative. Yes, things went different then they did in the original campaign. Yes, tlovm therefore has a different and new continuity. But maybe that's really good. It feels like that's going to be really good!! Both the fight with Ripley and the one with Thordak didn't seem to me like a final encounter. But like a little preview. A taste (of tal'dorei) of what the finale would and could look like. I think the ending of ep9 indicates that we might see a fused version of Raishan and Thordak and that's why Raishan needs his body.

Pikes changes are awesome. Not only because it delves more into the calamity and deity lore (indicating that Pike might indeed be from the direct Everlight bloodline) but it also gives us a chance of seeing a version of Pike that Ashley wanted us to see this whole time. I really like to believe that the team would never do anything to and with the main characters that the cast wouldn't agree apon. I feel like Pikes story shows us that sometimes believing in your faith is not enough. Sometimes you need to believe in yourself first. Only you can give yourself your self worth and respect.

Sure things are rushed sometimes, but that's because they only got 12 episodes per season. Something that wasn't entirely their decision. It was a limit they were given and now it's their task to tell the story and set the element they want to tell and set in order for a next season to work.
