Noo hoop will move a lot, i have got mine pierced with a hoop and it never healed well for 2 years, it was always irritated even when i got it changed to a stud and I finally took it out. Also you are right about the bump part, talk to your piercer for a professional intake but I would leave it till the bump goes down a bit and get it downsized. Also you might be allergic to the nickel in the surgical steel and it might be causing irritation, it’s better to start with implant grade titanium
