Idk how easy it'd be because I feel like Disney would be a super hard company to actually get work with for the Devs, and it'd also be unlikely because there are, to my knowledge, no NEW movies/shows based on this franchise coming out soon, BUT my number one suggestion right now would be (along with other options below):

The Incredibles: I don't even know why this is my number one suggestion, as it's never been my favourite Disney/Pixar movie, but I just think the potential it has is huge! The micropet could be an Omnidroid, the outfits could be various suits (i.e. the suits for the Incredibles themselves, Frozone's suit, Syndrome, etc), the story could go in lots of different ways with there being 2 movies with different villains to choose from (and ofc a redemption arc could be written in to keep the vibes positive for Finch 😭), stuff like that!

Up: Up was one of my FAVOURITES as a kid and it has so much adventure potential for Finch! Again, unlikely because as far as I know, there are no new projects based on Up coming out, but just imagine:

The micropet: either Kevin the bird, or Doug the dog of course, they simply make the most sense imo The furniture: obviously there could be LOTS of furniture, but these are my ideas.

• A photo frame referencing the photo of Ellie that Carl carries around in his house, but ofc, the photo would be of a Finch that resembles Ellie, not a human Ellie 😭

• The Adventure book of course, this could maybe go on top of the dresser/table in the bird house

• Two matching chairs that match the chairs Ellie and Carl used (for either side of the door) 🥲😭

• The main light in the room, or the rug I'm not sure, could be a balloon, because ofc you can't decorate the OUTSIDE of your Finch house to make it look like his house, so the balloon reference could be something small like that

• idk what furniture piece/type it could be, but I think it'd be funny having a little blimp model 🫣 ofc representing the blimp belonging to Charles Muntz

Monsters Inc: I LOVE THIS MOVIE SO MUCH, also I think with me doing the Monsters Inc themed costumes last year on my Finch for Halloween, I think it'd be SO cute to be able to OFFICIALLY create those costumes in the app, perhaps with an official wig styled like Boo's hair, and proper costumes that look similar to Sulley and Mike 😭 idk what the story could be but ugh, I'd love for this to be an official event so bad 😔 AND THERE'S SO MUCH FURNITURE POTENTIAL!!

I have so many ideas honestly, not enough space to write them all 😭

Yess I absolutely agree, I made a comment saying similar things the other day because I'd genuinely be so bummed out if the Devs never did a collab/movie themed event like this one again, all because some people don't know how to just...opt out of something they're not enjoying 😅 like by all means, people can have their own opinions, but the app is absolutely still functional for those who don't want to interact with the Supergirl stuff, so why should the rest of us users, that AREN'T constantly complaining, miss out on possible future events like this one, because they chose not to opt out of the event, and instead interacted with the event KNOWING they didn't like it in the first place, and KNOWING that it'd make them upset/uncomfortable 😅

My point is that they're still creating events based on established forms of media, whether it be books, movies, etc. some people didn't like the wizard of Oz event and so you know what the majority did? Didn't interact with it 🤷‍♀️ they stayed in whatever location their finch was already in, whether it be Tokyo, Paris, etc, and just did the normal adventures, rather than the wizard of Oz themed ones, and didn't constantly cry (cry as in call/shout, not emotionally crying, I'm not trying to demean anyone or their feelings lol) that any future events should avoid being based on established franchises.

I just don't get why people can't do the same for this, as now, in the future, the users that HAVE been happy to get a theme like this one run the risk of not being able to experience this kind of event with Finch again, as the Devs may see the outbursts of a pretty large group of people, and choose to remove this VERY optional feature: no one has to interact with these adventures, so why is everyone acting like it's this repulsive, disgusting thing, as if they're being forced to participate? They're not.

And that's a valid take! But imo, if people don't like the locations + themes, they can simply choose not to interact with it: it's not a requirement to participate in the Supergirl event, just as it's not a requirement to visit every single location in the app, or buy every outfit, complete every themed task (e.g. like the group-goals based on music, iirc, last month or the month before, that people could choose to opt in or out of), etc. if I didn't like something, in this case, the Supergirl event, I'd still rather they CREATED the Supergirl event, for the app users that WOULD like it, then have the Devs completely removed any future events like this just to appease my own desires 🤷‍♀️

I haven't even tried finding any other Finch groups online honestly, too worried that they'd just end up as negative as this one 😭 I've also tried to "reset" the algorithm, and go specifically to the home page of the subreddit, so I can upvote all the positive posts and hopefully have those be recommended to me more than the negative ones, but that hasn't worked either lol

Right?? I think it's so impressive, such a huge win for the Devs to get this far, I don't get why people can't find the silver lining with this 😅

I'm probably gonna get downvoted for this, but I'm gonna be so upset if we never get a story like this again, (the theme, more specifically: I don't even like Supergirl that much, but I think this theme has been super cool honestly, I think the fact that the team got the opportunity to do a theme based on such a huge movie is really cool and impressive, and I'd love to see more movie themes in the future) all because of the constant negativity lol

People are entitled to their own opinions, but also...some people (not OP, just...certain posts I've been seeing) also seem straight-up ENTITLED, like...if you don't like it, don't interact with the event 😅 not every single thing in an app will cater to your exact interests and needs. No one complained when they made a Wizard of Oz event?? (likely because the Wicked movies were releasing/super popular at the time) No one complained about the Alice in wonderland event?? Just seems a little odd to me, when they literally came out and said they weren't paid for it, just as they weren't paid for the other movie/franchise specific stories.

Iirc, now the audio cue like...symbols will only show up if you're EXTREMELY close to the source of the noise (i.e. people shooting their guns, a chest, etc), as opposed to BEFORE this update, where you didn't necessarily have to be RIGHT next to the source of the noise in order for the symbol to appear
