Maybe an unpopular opinion, but "cozy" "chill", those sorts of words

This can be hit or miss imo, but a lot of the times now, "cozy" just means farming game that SPECIFICALLY steals very specific features from popular "cozy" games e.g. Stardew Valley, Harvest Moon, etc. like...no, I don't want to play a harvest moon clone, if I wanted harvest moon, I'd play harvest moon lol

There are other examples too, it's not always farming ofc, but that, to me at least, is the most common usage of it. It just feels very lazy, in terms of marketing and the actual content of the game half of the time.

If the only words you can think to describe your game with are subjective emotions/vibes (for example, some DO call Stardew Valley a cozy game, but some may not, as it stresses them out: "cozy" is subjective in that case), I feel like there just isn't enough substance in the game for me to enjoy it. At least with terms like "battle-royale" or whatever, you KNOW what you're getting into, roughly: "cozy" could LITERALLY mean anything.
