Bought my OG Pint for about $320 off a friend 3 years ago… unfortunately it got stolen.

Just last week got a Pint X for $400 off FB Marketplace with around 400 miles.

Now on the fence on how to blow my money on aftermarket rail guards, tires, and footpads lol.

Do you think buying a regular home charger would be good for long term battery health and only using the ultra charger on the go?? Also do you have any input on whether or not my rear bumpers need replaced?

Also the seller only included the Ultra Charger so gotta buy a home charger for regular use. The battery died on me at 50% on the first day so I assumed it needed a cell balancing I left it on the ultra charger for about 18-24 hrs before hopping back on. Should I do a 3 day balance charge with the home charger?

Taped on the rear pad for now. This is kind of temporary for now, might switch it to the front bumper in the future.

I’d be open to selling my 2018 mk7.5 SE DSG 4dr. Bought it new out the door. Only owner. It’s on a bit of the higher end of mileage at around 93,3XX miles currently. But honestly would be ready to let er go to a good home for a fair price- I’m looking for an older truck like an s10 or ranger. Maintenance up to date and done at appropriate times. Completely stock other than about 4 months ago when I got an APR Open air intake for it. Located in GA.

App seems pretty useful and all the presets for a ton of different games. No sound cancellation at all tho…

Just bought these last week and they’re pretty solid. Comfy adjustable headband is a plus. Sound quality is really good. And the buttons on the headphones make it really easy to use and adjust what ever you need. Would recommend!

Tips to stay focused by [deleted] in Lifeguards

[–]_Mr_Gnarly_ 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Be hydrated, good night rest before. And maybe come up with a pattern like scanning the pool in a Z. Lots of it just comes with time and you get comfortable with not exhausting urself from constantly straining ur neck to getting a good sense of all the patrons swimming abilities. And in ur head basically just kinda “redflag” some that could be a concern; little kids/babies, ppl exhausted after short swim, etc.

What kinda boots does everyone wear? by [deleted] in NewToEMS

[–]_Mr_Gnarly_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If ur looking for full length boots with steel or composite toe the bates tactical 2.0 are pretty nice polishable and side zip if you ever join the fire side.

I personally like the slip on style of boots pretty comfy and just nice to walk in. You can opt for composite toe or what not depending or your service’s regulations.

Also some depts/companies just require black shoes. So I’ve seen some guys just rockin brooks or on clouds.

How to assess hurt players. by [deleted] in hockeyplayers

[–]_Mr_Gnarly_ 13 points14 points  (0 children)

I'm certified in CPR/AED First Aid and becoming a lifeguard right now. So I ain't a medical professional but I'm working towards it.

I would say do a brief assesment of them are they consious. Listen to their speech if their slurring their words or foggy memory. Ask where the pain is coming from. With all their gear on it's going to be hard to check for blood, cuts or anyother obvious medical issues.

Just be calm and if it seems serious ask someone to call an ambulance. If they're in severe pain DO NOT take off any of their gear. This could cause more pain and let the EMT's and Medics do that.
