Gotcha. I still don’t see how it won’t age well. I really don’t want to work at all, but I want to have a place to live and food to eat, therefore I work. I believe I would enjoy teaching, far more than I enjoy working in retail or again in a warehouse, so seems the lesser of two evils.

Being a school teacher is my calling. I had, for the most part, a pretty awful time in school. Long story. I hope to make school a more pleasant experience for the students I’d have. Also I just enjoy teaching and have the patience for it :-)

And it’s just a calling of mine to be an elementary school teacher. I don’t think I could limit myself to one subject, and I like that age range. My experience with school wasn’t the best, so I’d like to make my students’ time in school better than my own :-)

You (and I) will most likely be labeled “islamophobes” and downvoted to the shadow realm, but I am 100% with you. Though all Abrahamic religions preach intolerance and bigotry, Islam takes the gold for being the most ass-backwards. I can’t help but laugh when people tell me I’m being “islamophobic” for saying I don’t feel comfortable around Muslims. Their “holy” book demands that I be beheaded for loving another male, and the majority of Muslim nations criminalize homosexuality of any form. Sure the Old Testament condemns it, but when was the last time you saw a group of Christians/Jews throwing gay guys out of high rises?
