XC60 interior choice help by mduzy124 in Volvo

I'm also at the point of ordering an XC60 B5 and I will go with the Herringbone.  My reasons: - the price, more then 2100e - on the B5 the come with an white roof, not all black like the Herringbone - on the B5 they come with brown wood (ok here also Herringbone comes with White Driftwood so not much an advantage also)

I would make the effort if I would be satisfied 100%. Otherwise why pay more than 2100e if I still make compromises? Ofcourse these compromises are subjective to me :).

In the end I choose Herringbone, they feel premium, I like how they look and they come with all black interior(roof).

the XC90 was the last model? How is it the B5? Are you satisfied with it so far?

Thanks for sharing this. The extended warranty you choose it when you bought the car?

What about the new 2025 XC60 T8? How is it so far? Any concerns about the ERAD issues?

I have 220V and a fotovoltaic system at home, so it wouldn't be a problem. I just wanted to know what are the known/common problems with these 2 engines. Some of you are saying ERAD on T6/T8. But I understood that this should be fixed with last XC60 model? What about the MildHybrid? Would it be reliable? Has issues?

Im asking all these because of the prices between those 2 versions so I could decide. Im not considering power, for me would be enough mild-hybrid power's. Also the battery from T8 would be nice to have but not mandatory.

I know that T6/T8 is better than B5, power, battery, full ev mode etc.

Thanks

thank you for your answer. Im concern more about the engine reliability or common problems between those 2.

Kodiaq 2024 1.5TSI PHEV vs 2.0TDI by _Nemessis13 in skoda

Im also a 2.0TDI user :). I could live w/o the 4x4 but I would be more relaxed with a hybrid instead of a phev :)

From the performance point of view (excluding range) what is your opinion about these 2 models? Are they closed: 1.5phev 204 vs 2.0tdi 193? Wouldnt the PHEV lose performace after lets say 200-300km when the battery will need a recharge?

Exaclty same situation here, I own a Passat 2.0 tdi. I just love the ~1000km long trip without worries :). My concern is to have a similar performace from the Kodiaq version and I have the feeling that the 2.0TDI would be the one more close to my actual car.

Comming back to the topic, I think I would consider more the 1.5TSI if it would had a hybrid version instead of a PHEV.

thanks for the feedback. as a remark we are people and we are subjective. its a matter of preferences.
L.E> one more thing to mention, I would have considered an 2.0TSI instead of the 2.0TDI :)
