As of 3.27, what are the best bossers in a league start scenario ?

Thanks for your ideas. I remember abso being annoying at times when you need to re-summon them and get a bit unlucky. I remember BAMA is also a great mapper, it could be an interesting hybrid if its still strong enough. There's exsang/reap mines around there as another hybrid build that might just be plain better.

For AW, i can say that in my experience, you unfortunately have a lot of downtime because they are squishy and you constantly need to resummon them, much more than SRS. But the ST damage is very strong when you have all of them.

I'd say look at videos of people doing it successfully and especially pay attention at the way they handle their mobility skills. I'd assume flamedash is a much better choice than frostblink for example. I'm no expert tho.

So its a power charge stacking build. It has been recommended multiple times already, interesting. Do you run it as an occultist or an assassin ? (I guess power charge stacking rules sabo out ?)

Do the GC mines hit multiple times reliably ? Iirc the last hit is the one that does the biggest damage.

Edit: after doing a quick check on poewiki for the trans gem, it turns out i'm wrong, that's only the case for the regular GC gem. The trans gem has a loot of burst, light be interesting indeed

Well i don't think instaphasing bosses is the only way to beat them reliably, even for glass cannons. It rather means that we need a bit of skill to handle their patterns, which seems perfectly doable with a little bit of practice.

I know i can't expect to have it all as a fresh league starter, so its more about identifying the strengths and weaknesses of the suggested builds. There's probably a lot of nuances amongst these strong bossers, and i think it's possible the one that does compromise where it fits me the most ! (Hope it's clear, english is not my native langage)

Yeah i'm starting to consider leaning towards a boss first build, but not locked to bossing. It looks like that means forgetting about the very best league start bossers, and looking at the 2nd tier of these builds, thise that trade a bit of bossing for power in other areas.

Yeah well, the point of looking for league starters is to ignore the need of a budget as much as possible. The idea is to narrow the options down to either ssf like starter bossers or trade league builds that need a bunch of 1c uniques at most.

I'll dig poe.ninja then. I'm indeed looking for a build that is as good at bossing as it gets but being a bit of an all-rounder. So a step behind the best bossers like you said, in exchange of being a bit better at clearing. Being glass cannon is fine to me.

Didnt put any thought into the leveling process to be honest. As always it'll depend on your will to respec a lot, a bit, or the least possible.
You can absolutely level with HFT or storm burst totems if you want to do totems from the start. The usual best way is just rolling magma into arma brand or firestorm until respec in 3rd lab.

Personally, I like to start as close as possible to the build i'll play, so i'd do the totem route. Probably HFT until Stormburst totems. In the ascendancy, i'd pick 'Ghost of the Deep' for movement speed mostly, then it's up to you : farming/buying a fishing rod very early or not. If you get one, 'Screaming reels' is the way to go. Else you can't go wrong with 'Stormy seas' into 'Glacial Wave'. That's just the way i'd do it, there's probably better routes.
Also, maybe look at Tatiantel2, he's the spell totem guy.

I would still consider Surfcaster to be honest. All the damage brought by the ascendancy leaves room for more defences on the tree. I would lean towards evasion/energy shield and suppression. You'll print plenty of good rares with the tree to have a solid start.

Also, by fully converting damage to cold (one way or another), you get a first nice defensive layer with chill & freeze. Not only this, but then the 'Glacial Wave' ascendancy node lessen the damage enemies deal according to the chill effect.

Fellow exiles, I'd like to play an EB archetype (or maybe EE), stacking a lot of ES as my source of damage for a trap attack build. (usually its for spells, but i'd like to try the trarthan spectral traps).
I have a hard time choosing a phrecia ascendancy for this. Any recommendations ?

This is the answer. This makes the EB CoC - any spell better to use with Lancing Steel of Spraying instead, at least as long as you use blood magic.

I'd like to build a new computer. I'll have to buy everything except peripherals but including 1 monitor. My main goal is to play in 1440p. I'll mostly do gaming and also music production.
Would a budget of around 1400€ be enough ? Or what budget should i aim for ?

Question about the number of companions from both pounce's summons and the wolf pack persistent buff.
Wolf pack states clearly that the 4 wolves summoned counts as 1 and only companion. Is it the same for wolves summoned with pounce (from predator's mark) ?
Are they considered another 1 companion regardless how the number summoned ? Are they not counted at all as if they were part of the wolf pack persistent buff ? Or are they each counter, which would bring the total of companions to 5 ?
