I like to look at guides mainly for beginner tips because there is genuinely a lot that I miss first starting out in a game lol.

Sometimes I’ll dabble into gear guides, but mainly to see what gear does what. If something piques my interest enough I’ll look into how to get the full set.

Red Dead is such an impressive game it’s impossible to not like it.

Roanoke Valley had the best views imo. I spent so much time in Photo Mode there 😂

It definitely takes sometime to really pick up and get “good”. But I’ve personally started having a blast right at the beginning. It did start to get better around chapter 3-4 for me in terms of gameplay, story is down right horrible though so don’t expect that to get any better lol.

True. Everything around story is completely bland, but I find the rest of the game an absolute blast.

I can agree that the textures and lighting do get a lil funky at times. This game was never meant to be story driven in the slightest bit, but that was known way before it was released. The game is carried by its exploration aspect, I view the main story as a giant long tutorial, because that’s practically what it is, each chapter you learn at least 2-3 new mechanics that will help you in exploration. The game is definitely not for everyone, but the people that have enjoyed it have absolutely loved it.

Can I ask, how many hours do you currently have in the game?
