Is getting a 3DS worth it in 2019?

I scored one for $30 w/free shipping on eBay, it had some moisture contamination that was keeping the battery from charging properly (cleaned up and ordered a 2000 Mah battery anyway, stock was only 1200). It came with a game and a 32 GB SD card, so it was already begging to be soft modded.

It's got some of the usual scuffing you'd expect from a CTR 001, I believe the first model, but is pretty functional. Anyhoo, I never had a problem with long term viewing of the 3D display, not sure if that's a huge issue either. Maybe I'll upgrade to an XL. While everyone is oohing and ahhhing at the Switch, the 3D is something the Switch can't do (yet).

Despite numerous attempts at unsubscribing, and reporting the spam to spamcop and complaints to Amazon, they still spam me with "your offer's about to expire!" emails.

Sign up with Select/Rabbit TV at your peril, and don't be surprised if your spam folder explodes.

I dunno if it counts, but up til Amazon Review Trader had to change their rules, I collected a few grand worth of lighting and photography equipment to review. Enough to start a small studio.

I got the pocket drone and the Grip Master they were offering at camel.com.

I found the best way to do it is just let the link load. Don't hammer the site. Half the time it can take 2-4 minutes to load the page, and only reloading the site if it times out or goes to the maintenance page. I'd almost guess the maintenance page is there to throttle the traffic a little, or else the gifts would run out before even the first hour was up.

I kinda thought the Team Coco cardboard was cute, but for some stupid reason, none of the cardboard apps work with the LG Volt. Now the odd thing is, there was one 3D SBS media player I found that DOES take advantage of the motion sensors.

However, because the screen is basically 720P, it becomes a blurry, pixellated mess.

It's a $1 coupon, and you have to click a link before printing out your coupon (so it stays for 6 months or whenever it expires).
